Saskue used to be my favorite character. Until I finally realized something. He wines a lot. Naruto has hadabsolutleynothing. He knows not of the love that a father, mother, older sibling can give. At least saskue knew what that felt like. Iraka had his parents killed by the nine tailed fox and I dont see him going on a mad rampage. Kakashis dad killed himself and kakashi seen his dead body and hated him for it, but never turned on the village. What makes saskues situation so special. I mean the nine tails that is in naruto is the thing that made naruto lose his parents in the first, place. But he doesnt hate the village for any of it. I tjink that saskue has a coping problem. He feels that there has to be something wrong with someone and he has to have revenge for everything. He is your evil vigilanty if you will. The kid just needs to realize that sometimes the orld just sucks and live with it. Nothing more than tht.

You have a point, but I was just making a broad comparison. Their situations aren't the same, but they end up with basically the same emotions.

Edit: Yes his childhood was as bad as Sasuke's. Did you miss Kishi comparing their childhoods throughout Naruto? Similarities, hurr durr

good points, but you shouldnt compare humans like that. not all are the same, some people react differently. iruka doesnt have the power to do anything. kakashi, unlike sasuke, wasnt fighting for his fathers approval his whole life.

plus, naruto cant possibly know the same pain as sasuke. like you said, naruto doesnt know the love, since sasuke does, it makes his pain significantly different from naruto's

sasuke basically wouldnt be the op character he is now unless those tragedies wouldnt have happened or Itachi mindfreak him to death. I never liked sasuke cuz of how he always treated naruto and sakura like they were below him. however i do have alot of sympathy for his character because of his grief he cannot seem to understand that though he lost his clan and family, he could have had it all again if he would have stayed. Itachi though had the plan in mind he though would work to protect sasuke and help him become powerful. itachi did the only thing he though necessary to help sasuke but in reality it kinda made things worst. of course sasuke would want to avenge his family and on the off chance he ever learned the truth, of course he'd wanna kill the leaf higher ups. sasuke is a very spoiled narcissistic guy, but rightfully so in a sense.

look at kid kakashi his father the 'white fang' killed himself because of the village making him feel guilty and hes still protecting his village till this day.

its as pein explained to naruto, no two people will necessarily agree on the same type of "justice". you can apply that to this situation, naruto didnt have love growing up so he wouldnt understand sasuke's pain. sasuke did have love and parents at one point, so he could never understand naruto's pain. Sakura has had love her whole life, so though she tries she can never understand naruto and sasukes pain and rivalry. the point is though, at least naruto and sakura have tried to understand sasuke's pain and sympathize with him (naruto moreso lately) but sasuke wont listen to their side or try to sympathize why itachi did what he did or why naruto wont give up on him as a friend. if you really get into the depth in which kishi is trying to express these "bonds" between team 7 and other characters, its really deep. its refreshing to see someone who actually would go so far to help his friend. not many people would do that in todays world, most would have dropped sasuke as a nutcase long ago rather than try to help him like naruto.

Thats basically the jist ofthings I wanted to say but really couldnt. You have made a very valid point. But I dont even think naruto is doing it to save his friend. I think its more like he is tryi.g to save his brother. People ont go through these lengths for a friend. But someone who is familyyou generally try to go to the end of the.world to try and save them no matter the quarl.
