Manga notification...

Well i would like to propose something like a notification at the very top of the website where it would tell if there is going to be a manga release this week or not ... and if necessary something like a date and time for the next tentative release.

Something like this..

This will help a huge number of people who only log in on wednesdays to read the manga and all.

Now i understand there is the sticky thread but it seems people are too lazy to go through it .... or some don't understand how the forum is built at all.

Also i understand this can be done on the main page but the more eye catching it is the better the results will be.

I take it you have seen the obnoxious amount of threads on where the manga was.

I like the idea. You could also do a separate report spot on the home page like OPB did this week. Go to their home page to check it out. I'm on my phone I can't put a pic up.
Also I'm not advertising. OPB is NBs sister site.

How about we just add a page that redirects you to the main page. This page has notifications, some stats and a tab that directs you to the forums. I have seen this on some sites.

You could have some stuff like....

It is the mainpage when you go to NB. Just a thought. I saw it in another anime forum a long time ago and it seemed to work out fine. Think of it as a bulletin thread.

Awesome idea, but I actually don't think it'd work because NB is full of a lot of people and a bunch of noobs will still be like "Wer iz da nruto maga?!!!!!" every 3 seconds.


Still, I do think it would cut it down somewhat and it's helpful, so I support it.

I have another suggestion which I believe to be better for I myself find notifications to be really annoying from my experience with Arabic forums which tend to over use them.
Since on the homepage Versuvio reports each new manga chapter and anime episode, why not report the delay of a chapter instead of skipping the report as it's done currently.
