Itachi's
Pros
-Once eye contact is made, the Genjutsu takes effect
-Lasts 1 second, so it can't really be escaped by a non-Sharingan user
-Deals a lot of mental damage
Cons
-Can be broken by an Uchiha
-Tires the user out decently

Tobi's
Pros
-Can control anyone, including a perfect jink (Yagura)
-Seems to be able to last for several years
-Doesn't seem to have any drawbacks
-Can possibly kill with it
Cons
-None so far

Shisui's
Pros
-Instantly controls someone..permanently?
Cons
-Long reload time

So Itachi, Tobi, and Shisui can shot almost anyone...including Minato, who apparently can escape any Genjutsu. :sy:

Nah I'm saying they're both top tier Genjutsu users. Tobi just has less flaws so far. Such as Tsukuyomi tiring Itachi out.

thats if they can catch their opponent in them. Both also can probably be broken... I dont see your point. You could say any character with a powerful technique could one shot almost anyone.

Tsukuyomi can apparently only be broken by an Uchiha.

Tobi's can probably be broken somehow too, but no way has been shown so far.

Shisui's can't really be broken...can it?

tobi has never tried to controll a sharingan user and as for KA itachi said every jutsu has a weakness so its not perfect

The question you must ask yourself is "why didn't he used it?". Can't you see that i was maybe useless...

Because Kishi wrote the story that way? In part 1 of the series the story of how the 4th died was already written but not in full detail. So him being caught in an genjutsu like that would just plot hole the whole thing since it seems Tobi's genjutsu is super strong in the first place. I mean if Kishi wanted to he could have made Tobi control Hiruzen if he wanted to since Tobi is obviously capable of it. He could probably control Naruto as well since apparently he is weak against genjutsu. Its just Kishi's way of telling the story. Just like Minato's fight vs the Raikage. If Minate would have stabbed the Raikage in the back after teleporting behind him then by logic of the series the Raikage's lightening shield would have blocked any damage from Minato's Kunai. But instead it shows Bee "saving" Raikage. Its just Kishi's way of telling the story. There is a lot of "would of,could of" in this series.
