About Kakashi and Itachi

I don't know if it was mentioned in the manga and i missed it,
but were kakashi and itachi in the same anbu squad back when itachi was 13 and kakashi 22?

Did they know each other before their first clash in part one?

they most likely knew each other. even asuma and kurenai know itachi and vice versa.

but itachi's years in the anbu is unknown. and not much is known about kakashi's anbu days either. only that yamato was his subordinate

Maybe, but I think Itachi was in Root working directly from Danzou, where-else Kakashi was working directly from the Hokage.

During their little showdown in part 1, Kakashi said "You haven't even seen half of what he can do".

I guess from that we can assume he's seen Itachi fight before.

in the translation it's just been said that "ANBU black ops" but that's just the same ANBU we know of.

Where was it stated he joined the ANBU at 14? I don't believe it was ever stated when he joined or left the ANBU.

He was 13 when he became a Jonin.

After the war in the flash back of Kyubi's attack you can see Kakashi with Anbu outfit.

Kakashi was in Anbu Black Ops, while Itachi would be in Anbu Root.

Kakashi probably only knew of Itachi after he killed his own clan and fled the village. He knows so much about him because he's an Uchiha and he was in the Bingo book for assassination.
