Does genjutsu need perfect eye contact from both sides or is it enuf that caster eyes looking to enemy eyes

Like caster eyes are looking at enemy eyes and at the same time enemy avoids direct eye contact by looking under the caster eyes:)

You need to make eye contact, which means both characters need to be looking into each others eyes. That is for some Sharingan genjutsu's though, other genjutsu's don't require eye contact.

The first, not the second.

There are many genjutsu and all have different criteria for enemy to be affected.

Only for tsukoyomi. Got questione, what does koatoasumi do?

Koto Amatsukami makes the victim do whatever the user requests, they have no choice whatsoever in what they do and it happens to them without them EVER noticing, you're basically ****ed if you get caught in it, there is a fallback though, it's that there is a large wait period in between uses and that it makes your eye go blind (it's a Mangekyou technique)
