Ron Artest(Metta World Peace) suspended 7 games w/o pay

The NBA has just handed down a 7 game suspension to Ron Artest for doing this dirty ass playU_U...



He will be suspended for the final game of the regular season and 6 playoff games if the lakers were to last 6 games for his actions and his ignorance as shown from his tweets on this subject "Hope James Hardin is ok...I remember when I hit by Marc Gasol the same way.. I was spitting up blood and a headache during the game..." and "I just watched the replay again..... Oooo..My celebration of the dunk really was too much... Didn't even see James ..... Omg... Looks bad".:sy:U_U

This was the statement the league released about the recent event:

“The concussion suffered by James Harden demonstrates the danger posed by violent acts of this kind, particularly when they are directed at the head area,” NBA Commissioner David Stern said. “We remain committed to taking necessary measures to protect the safety of NBA players, including the imposition of appropriate penalties for players with a history of on-court altercations.”
The suspension will begin with the Lakers’ next game at Sacramento on April 26. The remaining games of the suspension will be served over the next six games in which the player is eligible and physically able to play, including this season’s playoffs."

Ron Artest has changed his ways until a couple days ago, he was helping the community and it really looked like he turned his life around.

i remember one game where he was making sure bynum wasn't fighting anyone

well the punishment seems right i guess maybe a little less i'd like since he hasn't done anything serious since the pistons brawl, but the lakers will last 6 games without him and then he'll be back with a vengence

i disagree bruh... he felt harden's arm, seen him w/ his peripheral vision, then swung his elbow all the way back, then followed through full force above harden's shoulder to his headU_U

At first I didnt agree. It honestly looked like an accident.

Many people say it was on purpose, but if so, WHAT HAPPENED to make him want to retaliate...? If he did it on purpose... and he was never hit first... WHY DID HE DO IT???

The only reason I say the time fit the crime is b/c of his "history". Who knows why the hell his crazy @$$ did it??? He has a record of fighting so no one is crying for his missed games. And why didnt he feel the elbow impact? So many unanswered questions, he'll think about it at home watching the playoffs.

xd Was just being funny about the situation. The guy who got elbow to the faces can i ask why was he all up in ron space like that? I think what ron did was wrong, but i also feel the problem started earlier that what was shown on camera. So the guy who got elbow knew what he was doing as well, this like this happen all the time in the NBA, the only differences is it got psychical.
