no. he was just angry. if naruto was trying his best you would have seen four tails or something in that episode. but we did not. and its not about knowing how to "unlock" the tails, because the tails are triggered by rage. so no naruto was not trying his hardest. sasuke however went all out

im not saying Kirin can withstand TBB, im just saying it makes sense that they would clash in the end since theyre the strongest variants of chidori and rasengan

i know kirin isnt a chidori variant, but it requires chidori, plus, who knows, maybe EMS can boost kirin somehow. :shrug:

What makes you think it can withstand it ? THe size of the attack itself is much larger than susano'o let alone its explosive radius and a shield will only protect from the front how do you expect it to survive in the midst of such a massive explosion?

no the nine tails did not give him no more power simple as that naruto was very angry he said i dont care if i have to break every bone in ur body im bringing u bac he failed cuz he was not strong enough said so him self.

you missed the part where i said teh cloak is triggered by rage. naruto could have gone farther...but he didnt. that can mean two things

1: naruto doesnt give a damn about sasuke in reality, he was faking it
2: naruto believes in himself to eventually bring sasuke back, whether he fails this mission or not

Stop bringing up Kirin! It needs huge preperations to be used. There NEEDS to be storm clouds or else the jutsu is not performable. Chidori is not necessary for kirin anyway, and TBB is not a variant of rasengan.
Rasengan was made by minato through observing TBB so if anything rasengan is a weak variant of TBB

once it hit the sheild thats it he will be protected from on out the explosion wont hurt after the front takes the most damage.
