The Epic Thread of Foreshadowing

Evening gents

This is a thread devoted to the discussion, theorizing and questioning of foreshadowing, so let's get to it.

Something that has bothered me for a quite some time is Izuna - Why does he look exactly like Sasuke? Even his hair is awfully similar. Does this make Sasuke closer to Madara? Will Sasuke steal Madara's eyes? Remind Madara of his brother whose eyes he took?

And another thing - It's obvious that team seven, for the lack of a better of a better word, 'represent' the Sannin. Sharing their respective masters' different skills, abilities and values.

However, my question is - how far does this go? Will Sasuke always be a missing-nin and a threat to Konoha, just like Orochimaru? Will Naruto always chase after Sakura, who does not reciprocate his feelings for her?

What do you all think?

Naruto wouldn't make a bad jiraiya.
Team 7 cannot resemble the sannin, because they have vast power differences. and Presently cannot fight as a team. Sakura would get killed if naruto used Bijuu bomb..even if it's on the enemy. and she cant defeat any of the current enemys.

Yo I believe that madara is either izuna or madara using izanagi to rejuvante his body and inzanami to predict the outcome of the fight with the first he originly wanted to use heavenly path to rejuvanate but nagato used it on the leaf village and b and tsnade are going to die probably guy or kakeshi as well as a bunch of jounin cause theirs a lot of big boys left on the table an have u noticed that madara is aware of all occular powers an predates most my other theory is that tobi is. A couple of things I'd like to correct you on, my good sir.

If you don't think Izuna looks like Sasuke, then that's your opinion and I won't try to change it. Still, do we know/have evidence for/has anyone said that you can't steal eyes from an Edo Tensei?

Sakura has been trained by Tsunade, Naruto by Jiraiya and Sasuke by Orochimaru. Surely you must be able to see the similarities in their skill sets? I'm not talking about power level only here.

Sasuke "being stupid" isn't the same as not being a threat to Konoha like Orochimaru was.

Naruto loves Sakura. I don't know why, but there you have it. Just like Jiraiya with Tsunade.

How is Naruto not being a bad Jiraiya correcting me?

Also, as I said, I'm not only talking about power level here. If that's all you can think of, then I suggest you try to put that aside and come up with some creative answers or theories of your own to contribute to the thread.

Sakura - Too weak. Has no special skills of feat that could be proven for title of sannin. Shes just an extremely strong Medical nin. kinda like a "Strong version" of ino.

Naruto care's for Sakura...like a sister, yes he loves her , but only in that sense. He's not chasing after her as you stated in your OP. Not doubting your thoughts though, because anything could happen.

I do not mean to sound rude, but are you trying to troll me or what? I'm not talking about titles or power level, I'm talking about them all being trained by the Sannin, following in their footsteps...my one question was how far it went.

Naruto is in LOVE with Sakura, he has blatantly said it. Not only that but it has been hinted about seven dozen times.

I've been wondering the same thing for a while now. I think in order for team 7 to become sannin, we would need a timeskip -- no other way. I agree with Sasuke looking like Izuna -- eerily similar I might add. I've never thought about Sasuke taking Madara's eyes though .. I seriously doubt Naruto chases Sakura..I think he's over her. I think Sakura has the best chance of being closer to her sannin predecessor than Sasuke or Naruto -- those two are already too powerful, but I guess they could become sannin in their own light..and even better trio than the last. I feel Sakura will need and will get a HUGE power boost in order to be seen "respectable" as a fellow sannin with Sasuke and Naruto. All-in-all, prepare for a timeskip. :scorps:

I think that Sasuke's resemblance to Izuna is merely for the purpose of Madara seeing this resemblance if they eventually meet each other. Maybe that will intimidate him in some way. Maybe he will see Izuna in him, feel guilty and give him his eyes (as if returning them back). And that's how Sasuke gains Rinnegan.

Or maybe not, because even I don't see that happening. But since this a foreshadowing thread, give it a try.

Team 7 does represent the Sannin, but at the same time they are different. I think they will have a different destiny than the Sannin. Jiraiya couldn't bring Orochimaru back, but Naruto may be able to bring back Sasuke.
Jiraiya had unrequited feelings for Tsunade, and was never able to move forward - he had fun with the prostitutes, but never could establish a serious relationship. Naruto may be able to overcome his crush for Sakura, and move on.
I think team 7 could surpass their masters not only in power, but also by accomplishing what those couldn't.

Now we just need you to get close to Masashi and we're golden! Just don't give Sasuke the Rinnegan, since those supposedly rare eyes are being passed around more than a used condom on Woodstock.

I think if Sasuke got his hands on Nagato's eyes, which in theory would be Madara's eyes there could be the possiblity of an ultimate Eternal Mengekyou Sharingan. As for Sakura and Naruto, I think he's over her, yeah he'll still flirt, but I don't think he loves her like he did, but he is noticing Hinata now. As for the Sannin thing, I'm pretty sure that was Kishi's intentions at the end of part 1. However he quickly realized that it wouldn't work. It did give the three characters a level of experience and respect, which is undeniable.
