It seems that Kishi has one of the Sannin die when they are surpassed by their pupil..

That said, Sasuke surpassed Orochimaru.. he died.

Naruto surpassed Jiraiya.. he died.

Tsunade might end up being the only exception. xd

Yeah she got impaled and survived that mini-cliffhanger...Unless something a bit unpredictable happens, I doubt she'll die. Oonki is exhausted, old and holds a grudge against Madara, wouldn't surprise me if he died.

Tsunade needs to die to prove this war is not a complete fluke.
Onoki needs to die as well for plot purposes IMO, he needs to die and take the secrets of Jinton with him.

LOL this was a great thread - Tsunade is a Kage but one of the weakest ever. Meanwhile he pupil who out of the three should have the easiest time surpassing their teacher because Tsunade is the weakest - but put Sakura she sucks simply too much and will NEVER surpass even Tsunade.

I don't think so. Pink doesn't really suit a bad ass. If kishi wanted Sakura to be better he wouldn't have made her a miniture Tsunade but given her something unique like Sasuke(sharigan) and Naruto(9 tails/uzumaki). So Sakura's just a lost cause imo.

I think that Tsunade will pass her secrets onto Sakura and that Tsunade will wind up dying short after cause she won't have had time to recharge it, and that will be when naruto becomes hokage, and when one of the last possibly two or three fights between him and sasuke will take place.
