naruto's speed is waaaayyy too hyped!

His speed isn't overhyped. In the manga A said he was the fastest alive (I dunno if it was a matter of opinion or facts but it was in the manga). Naruto has dodged his punch at full speed, now that requires more reflexes than speed so I can see why some people doubt but having after fusing with 9 tails and unlocking its full power to me I haven't seen anyone faster.

his speed is overhyped yes but that doesn't mean he isn't the fastest.

If you have been reading the manga properly then you would come to understand and accept that he is the fastest person alive. If not then you are just a plain hater or your standards for being fast must be light speed. U_U

before i get any1 upset i want to say that i am not a naruro hater and im only speaking from a logical point of view and i feel like his speed is a tad bit overrated now. i am not saying he is slow i just dont think he is as fast as people make him out to be.could some1 show me or point out to me what makes him or who said he is the fastest character??? is it because he can use body flicker now?? (something that people have been doing for a while now) is it because he dodged the raikages fastest (linear) punch??? you can also thank the plot for that because A was supposedly trying to kill him. this is what really kills me "OMG all i saw was a yellow flash" guess what people??? he is glowing yellow!! so of course if he uses body flicker your going to see a yellow flash! which imo i felt was a horrible way to try and compare him with his dad(yellow flash Sr lol). cause guess what?? if any1 else was glowing yellow and did body flicker guess what people would say?? "omg! i saw a yellow flash" i will admit repelling all of those tbb's was impressive but its not like he wasnt on the battle field and the tbb's arent exacty bullets out of a sniper rifle but my main point is tobi has not yet once acknowledged narutos speed. not even once! but when he encountered THE fastest shinobi (minato) he acknowledged his speed atleast 3 or 4 times and had his ass handed to him properly lol.and then people have the nerve to say naruto is faster than his pops! lmao according to who??? again im not saying he isnt fast but man some of the stuff i read are ridiculous lol again im not hating.any1 who looks at this from a logical stand point will understand where im coming from
but i also expect the worst too(fanboys and illogical thinkers) lol

Depends on distance. Thing is, Tobis warping is not instant, thats why Minato was able to escpape from it. If we are talking about few kilometers then Tobi would surely be faster, but on distance, lets say 30m Naruto would be able to blitz to the place before Tobi would teleport.

this, 5 bijuu had 5 tbb aimed at kakashi and gai point blank, They were so close that not even gai with a few gates opened could have escaped the radius of the blast, but Naruto who is further away than the bijuu actually outran the TBB's, even moreso impresive is the fact that he knocked them away effortlessly, No one name one feat in the manga that demonstrates more speed than this, not one.

For the plot part, Kishi didn't have to show Naruto dodging A's fastest attack but he did to showcase Naruto's speed. He could have easily make Naruto use subsitution or a clone. Kishi showed Minato dodge A's fastest attack then showed Naruto do the same then had A mention hoow only Minato dodged that attack. A who is around 50 years old and makes it his business to know about power related things (other village's info, Akatsuki, the SO6P weapons, Jinchuurikis) would of heard if anyone was faster then he was and even said now that Minato is dead I am the fastest in the world. Then Naruto proved this wrong by doing something only his dad could do.

You must also remember that Naruto was not at full power at all, he wasted too much chakra before even seeing A and Tsunade from his training with Bee. Bee mentioned this during the training at least twice then after the training with the 8 tails. 3. Naruto from a far sped in front of and kicked every single Biju Ball far away with his speed alone.

Like you said he is not even at full power yet so we have yet to be amazed at anything he can currently do at the moment. I would like to see what he does against five targets in different places all being attacked at point blank range and then I would say he is the fastest because even Tobi's S/T Jutsu wouldn't be able to pull that off..

dude your opinion is totally irreleant when 10 people have already stated the same thing and was already talked about. Yes Tobi is fast for very far distances but when it comes to shorter distances then Naruto takes everyone even Tobi..
