Rinnegan Secrets DECLASSIFIED
According to manga,Sage of six paths had two sons.
The Senju Clan ancestor & Uchiha clan ancestor.
Senju clan ancestor inherited the Sage's body life force and physical energy while the Uchiha clan ancestor inherited his powerful chakra and spiritual energy.
Years later the two clan merge to found the village of the leaf.
My theory starts off the fact that both senju clan & uchiha clan lived for many years in the same village & its not far fetch if one member of each clan was to be romantically involve.(example: sakura to sasuke)
Now what would happen if a senju and an uchiha had a child?
Answer: the combination of their bloodline might be the reason why the rinnegan resurfaced after all these years.
I have provided a pic of Nagato's parents. Please note that his father had black hair which could have implied that he had uchiha blood and of course his mother was an uzumaki, also a Senju ancestor)
(although they were living in amegakure, there was no
evidence that they initially lived there.)
Tobi might have somehow knew this and this prompted him to plot the uchiha massacre to prevent further spread of this "union of bloodline".
Well that's my theory and I just wanted to share it to my fellow fans of the series.
