Namikazo Minato and his underestimation

I've couldn't help but notice how everyone underestimates Minato, especially on these forums.
Some people even put weaklings before him in top shinobies and such lists.
So this time, I've brought you some proof, that he's far by the most brilliant of all the Kages.

This technique that Jiraiya was talking about is still unrevealed.
Also notice, that Minato created Rasengan either because he participated what will hapen, or for Kushina, in order that she'll master the Bijuu Dama with it's help.
Anyhow, he's I think the only one from the entire series who has never made a mistake, and prepared everything just geniusly.
Intelligence, speed and power: the most deadliest combination, yet, everyone (almost) puts every nameless shinobi before him.

Well some people are just geniuses, seriously.
Tobirama, AKA as the Second Hokage used space-time ninjutsu, so he would COMPREHEND FTG since he used something similar to that, we don't know what techniques he had, but he could've used FTG aswell.

Minato like any other strong character is popular and overrated no different to itachi, nagato, naruto, sasuke etc. He is mostly ridiculously overrated because apparently being the main characters father means you stand equal to the sage, there are people who underrate him aswell.

Now people need to distinguish between facts and opinions. Minato is no doubt a genius and has gotten praise by those who knew him, but you see so has other geniuses like itachi, kakashi, sasuke, neji, sarutobi, oro, kabuto etc. Every genius in the series has gotten praise.

What jiriaya said about a once in a decade genius is his opinion no different to what A said about him being unsurpassed. That is their opinion and nothing more. If you havent noticed both A and jiraiya arent the brightest of people and are bound to be impressed by very little genius feat and with that stated their opinion.

Now minato is strong but alot of characters from what we have seen are stronger. It was said that he had fought A, a couple of times and neither could get the best the other although from the meeting we saw minato did best A in the duel. Now minato died, his potential stopped. A was alive and grew stronger. Im certain if minato was to face current A (both arms), he would face a completely different A than the one he faced. Fact is whilst Minato's power was stunned, A grew stronger and would give him a harder time if they wereto face each other again. Who would win, ive no idea.

From what ive gathered and from what the manga says, minato was about the same level as A before he died. If thats the case his power level might be inferior to current A and many of todays opponents.

What makes him deadly though is that although he hasnt demonstrated any extreme power level or op techniques he is very resourceful and uses ftg to its fullest

Actually from manga/series we only saw Minato face A once, and then, he would've kill him if B wouldn't have interfered.
I think that he could've take the both of them at once, it's just that that he didn't have any grudge against them.
Also not even 1/10 of Minato(as in his techniques) was released yet, so it's hard to tell if the current A would match him or not.

It was 3 years actually, and good point.
Hopefully there'll be some filler episodes about Minato, or either normal episodes, we really lack info about him, which disturbs me.

1/10 techs? how could you know that?did you count them? So naruto has just Rasengen/Rasenshiruken/Kage Bunshin and sexy no jutsu xd just all ? If he doesnt have plenty of jutsu it is not meaning of he is weak. Minato has we seen, rasengan, FTG, and several or more sealing jutsu after all he is expert. i think thats enough. He has it all, not we just see 1/10 jutsu from him.

Yeah, people are underrating him too much. I think the only person in the show who actually is better than him is Sakura, because, well, she's just too awesome. But Minato is definitely #2.
