Hiruzen strong?

everyone on base says that Hiruzen is very strong or even perhaps one of the strongest. i know he has enma his monkey ape gorilla thing but that doesn't seem to impressive. what am i missing? why does everyone think he is so stong?

I agree. He's not strong to me. BUT kishi said he's the god of shinobi so he's one of the strongest. Bullshit if you ask me. I'm not impressed with his strength

Idk either tbh. Maybe because he apparently had tons of jutsus in his arsenal. So basically he seems like a Kakashi with A LOT more chakra and no sharingan:shrug:

edo ninjas arnt as impressive as the real them. they dont strategize and they attack together and work as a team. so i think that if hiruzen fought both them while they were alive, it wouldnt have ended well for him.

everybody talk about of hiruzen during his prime. but what i think that he was strong for a 60 something year old man. when my grandmother was 60 she couldnt jump without hurting herself. he was able to fight execute jutsu and summon a monkey that can change into a staff that can talk and has hands. i think that is something that we need to take into consideration though...also he took on the first and second hokage. they are rivaled to be considered the strongest shinobi and he was able to the get rid of them with some difficulty.

i say that he is considerably strong.

He was able to do EVERY JUTSU (EXCLUDING KEKKEI GENKEI) in the Village. That means he has to have uzumaki level chakra reserves in his prime, but no one talks about this much. His claim to fame is the same as the Senju clan--not known for mastery in ONE thing but a level of mastery of ALL jutsus. Especially kinjutsus. FYI he was a F'ing Beast.

true but they were edo and edo is never as strong as when they were alive because they know their jutsu better than anyone, they wont work as a team, and they cant use strategy.

Yes his chakra levels were extremely high, that was stated , it was also extremely powerful, his chakra started cracking the ceiling /roof

Since he was trained by the both senju hokages, he developed the senju way of mastering all 3 shinobi combat forms.. nin, tai and gen.. he has a nack for learning jutsu .. though old , he even went ahead and learnt the death god seal, he's incredibly underated

he took on 1st, 2nd and orochimaru at once by himself, hailed as strongest hokage and god of shinobi, called professor because he knows about every jutsu that exists in konoha. his chakra levels meant in his prime he used clones extensively. orochimaru had never seen him in pain when he was still in the village.

wrong. the senju bros were working as a team, and they were using their best jutsus. orochimaru isnt an idiot so he was using enough strategy to overwhelm hiruzen. onoki stated muu's as powerful as when he was alive. madara, itachi and nagato are even stronger than alive

if hiruzen fought them both when alive, they wouldnt have edo immortality and unlimited chakra, so they would have died when hiruzen blew them in half.
