Start Jiraiya in sage mode and it's a little more fair. I still say Hashirama wins, being one of the strongest Naruto characters ever... though he would not be able to beat J with low dif. Let's not overstate the point. I'd give this to Hashirama mid-high dif if Jiraiya starts in sage mode.

Good points. Made me think about the battle more. What would Jiraiya do about Hashirama's healing, though? If he can get around Hashi's troublesome techniques he still has to deal with defeating his opponent (who could make more wood if some was destroyed and prob defeat Gamabunta, putting the two on even ground). I don't think either here can outlast the other so it would go to whoever injured the other more... but Hashirama can heal from his injuries...

i don't see him beating a bringer of darkness + flower world combo

jiriaya is the second best sensor in the manga via SM. flower world has chakra. hed know to avoid it.

bunta can easily get restrained by moukouton once summoned, i mean, it restrained kyuubi

mokuton happened to suppress bijuus. it cant supress a toad.

ok first Hisharama beats Madara -Madara beats 5kages using all power- jaraiya beats most of the six paths in terms of sannin strenght barely beats orochimaru but still very powerful im more of a j fan but hisharama wins due to the fact wood release jutsus control tailed beasts bringer of darkness not to mention the fact that he beat madara which i find pretty amazing and almost forgot probly the best medical jutsu user in the manga/series

To people saying Hashirama wins, what does he win with? Everything Hashi has shown can be countered. Yes, Hashi heals but consider the amount of Chakra needed to heal from Goemon. Jiraiya's techs are more damaging than Hashi's. While he's in the frog song Jiraiya can decapitate him.
