The current anime fillers

Hello everyone

As you probably know, we're stuck on fillers in the anime. However, I can't shake the feeling that they actually want to show or foreshadow something.

For instance, when they showed Naruto and Sasuke fighting on top of the hospital, we could 'hear' their thoughts this time around, something that was not the case in the real episode, be it dubbed or subbed. Why do you think that is?

If they want to show something, what would it be? Or am I just overthinking things?

I think the same. Why else would they be showing flash-backs or remakes from the first season. It has to be a purpose.

It could be a way to just bring the newcomers up to speed, but I don't know, somehow I doubt that.

If 'tis just an ordinary filler, then it feels like a wasted opportunity. They could've just made a flashback filler arc but with focus on Sasuke's thoughts and emotions, since, well, he showed one during season one, hehe.

I think they did that cause the part 1 series was not in widescreen version, but they need the widescreen version because these fights are to be shown in the war arc somewhere.......So they reanimated the series with more details in it....this is what i learn from the net...

Again, I thought the same, but the audience would not favor this and the rating would go down. As stated above, the needed to find a way to show and recap the last season with added advance animation graphics and stuff.

I think this is what this "Filler's" are showing. The focus of emotions and relationship/rivalry/friendship felt by both Sasuke and Naruto to give a better understanding. It probably leads up to the fight between Sasuke and Naruto.

I don't watch it cause I thought it is pointless, I have watched all the fillers but this one, if it means something, I will watch

Yeah that's what I'm suspecting as well. I hope we get to see what the hell Sasuke was thinking there during their epic showdown. I also hope this is some kind of foreshadowing as to whether he'll ever be back or not.
