Tsunade is the grand daughter of the First Hokage and as of right now the only living heir, but judging by physical traits Tobirama ( the Second Hokage) has about three sucessors that we know about
Jariya
White Fang
Kakashi

So not only was Kakashi chosen to be the next Hokage it was his by birth right of being the great grand son of the Second Hokage. Let me know what you think!

I do not think you can determine their physical characterize or traits of a them being a successor by comparing them to a individual such as the Second Hokage. It is all about genes and what not. Also, Kishi has not stated it in the Manga.

I don't think it has anything to do with genes or anything like that. You can't base that on just looks.

But if you notice there is a linage through Master and Teachers for Hokage.

Hashirama was first obviously and Tobirama was Second, Hashirama probably trained Tobirama some.

Tobirama trained Danzo and Hiruzen. Hiruzen became Third and Danzo almost became 6th

Hiruzen trained the Sannin. Then Jman trained Minato who became 4th and then Tsunade became 5th later on.

And if we are saying that Kakashi and Naruto should become Hokage they do have the right training linage. Kakashi was trained by Minato and Kakashi then trained Naruto. And Kakashi would have become the 6th if not for Danzo tricking his way into the position.

My logic my be a little flawed or maybe cause Asuma is dead, but both Senju then Sarutobi, last but not least Minato Nizamake.
The cycle has started over again with Tsunade being the Fifth Hokage

Just because Tsunade trained her doesn't mean that she automatically gets it. I'm sure Hashi, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, J-man, Tsunade, trained more people than that. By your logic, Nagato could have become Hokage because Jman trained him. Don't forget they wanted Jman to be the 5th before Tsunade.

Just because person A has white hair doesn't mean that person B with white hair is automatically related to person A.

I guess Sai is an Uchiha then, since he has pale skin, dark eyes and black hair, which is pretty much trademark Uchiha style? By your logic, that is.

Tobirama trained Hiruzen so it was only right that Hiruzen would train J-man, right? So following the pattern J-man trains Minato who in turns trains his nephew Kakashi or maybe I making this up as I go along lol.


But in the end Kakashi trains the son of his Senpa, J-man trains his god son and here the twist Naruto is an Uzamaki which is related to the first through marriage.

So you think Kakashi, Sakumo, and Jiraiya are related to Tobirama just because they have white hair?
