Regardless of these entries .. reread what I posted , Pain has never lost a battle Konan has said that meaning he is powerful and also re read the recent manga's where he invades Konoha ... he believes himself to be a god .. he is under no one. Yes he may appear to listen to Madra but that simple may be b/c those are part of his plans and again reread what I posted about your first manga page. The leader part is very unclear , it could be refering to Pain and not Madara. If he believes he is a god and is so zealous about it why would he work "under" Madara? If Madara is the leader it is likely by choice of Pain and Pain is humouring him for now. It has been said that the Renegan are the most powerful eyes as well. So either Pain is not as strong as he says and Madara is stronger or Pain is really the leader or following Akasuki's lead only b/c they follow his goals

He even tells pein if everything plays out correct he will get wat he wants....
he was talkin about no more wars but u forget one thing....
Madara is a good manipulator.....Hes been manipulatin pein all along.....
And think about it....Madara is the type of person u got to know how to kill....
Pein has 6 bodies...Honestly do u think any of those bodies have a chance ?
madara knows exactly where pein is and will come after him....

The only person who was close to madaras strength and could have killed him..
was itachi....Thus why he told sasuke he ha to keep a few tricks away fom him....
Itachi was more of a threat than pein....Pein may have the best eye technique....
But like zetsu said when itachi and sasuke fought....It doesnt matter whos stronger....
If your more skilled u will come out on top....So in shorts of all of this....

When madara unlocked EMS...I think he got one step ahead of the rinnegan....
