I focus the ototon chakra in my ear, setting the soundwaves that come in and the vibration at a proper level. As the football is thrown at my way (which I don't know of) I listen intensly to the sounds around me, and notice a change in the vibrations and waves that are coming my way. Noticing this, I assume that a projectile is coming my way. I continue to listen and when I feel the vibrations nearby, as well as the waves, I duck, trying to avoid the ball.

As I focus the Ototon chakra in my ear, I focus my hearing on you at first. I notice the sound of you throwing something, and feel the vibrations in my ear of an object being thrown at me. I continue to track these vibrations and the change of the air current (the sound of it as well as the feeling of the airwaves) and soundwaves, and then wait until it comes closer. Once I notice it coming closer, I pinpoint the vibrations and where the sound waves air, and the friction in the air, and catch the ball.

I notice that these sound waves increase as it comes closer to me, and due to the velocity that the vibrations of the ball thrown in the air and the ones that it create (and that the sound of it creates) increase as well. Once I notice the sound waves coming closer and the vibrations coming closer, I notice the fluctuation in them obviously increasing. I duck once the sound waves and the vibrations are as close to me as they are supposed to be.

As before, I start to focus my ototon chakra into my ears. I then start to slowly release a first sound wave out from my mouth, through my breath. After a few seconds, I notice that the a wave is coming back my way, and conclude that it is the sound wave that bounced off from my clone. I release another sound wave, as I breath, and try start calculating the time it takes to be sent out, and come back, and conclude that, due to the time needed to travel back and forth, and the frequency and vibration it has, that my clone is at mid range from me.

Question: Does this work just as well in the hidden mist jutsu, or does it have a lesser effect?
