The hardly any damage part was along the same lines as kakuzu being in the same shape after taking a rasenshuriken that left a dbz sized crater in the ground. Kishi simply needed him in one peice after taking the attack for some reason or another. The shockwaves from the blast swept people off their feet about a mile away.

Actually kakuzu was clearly damaged by rs, kisame on the otherhand mildly damaged. Anyway my work here is done.

It's impossible to go through, how many times does that have to be cleared?

 after kakuzu got hit when RS he can't even move and the damage is devastating, as shown in the manga, the jutsu rip off kakuzu skin,

and by the way even gai surprised that kisame can still move after 1 attack and after that gai attack kisame again, and yet kisame still have anough power to break yamato mokuton

I know what you saw, but it was hardly any damage to kisame. Clearly didnt keep him down after what he did

True but it didn't leave him unscathed, and we all know Kisame's a freaking stamina freak and is practically impossible to keep down for more than two seconds. I also wonder if the water and Kisame's jutsu weakened the technique some what (Lots of friction from the water, the jutsu seemed to clash with the shark so I'm fairly sure that had an impact as well). Seemed more like a massive but fairly weak explosion than anything with enough damage to harm even a susanoo rib cage.

Btw guys, Afternoon Tiger isn't a fire attack. (No, I am not talking bout Fire element, I am talking bout the fact that it isn't related to fire in any ways)

Gai built up air pressure and launched his hands forward, pushing all the air towards the directed location xd
