Nagato could have been alot stronger if he had went into Konoha and learn from masters there + learned SM from Elder toads and from Elder White Snake , With Rinnegan it's possible too learn all the Jutsu.

While I agree that it's indeed possible and there are characters who can beat him. It's also VERY difficult to. The 6 paths of pain on the other hand was comparitively a pushover compared to Nagato on his own. as an overview.

Deva Path - Gravity Control = very powerful
Naraka Path - Ressurection = not great in 1v1 but great in team fights
Animal Path - increases the heretic paths sight and causes more field advantage
Asura Path - Bodily Modification = can beat the tar out of taijutsu and with enough creativity be very powerful/useful
Preta Path - Ninjutsu absorption = nuff said
Human Path - Soul Stealing = ...

as we saw in the fight with Nagato VS Naruto, Killer B, and Itachi. He was VERY powerful and chained his combo's very nicely and smoothly. He stopped Naruto's Rasengans and almost used the Human path to tear out naruto's soul WHILE he was in a lesser version of the newest transformation. In the newer one he could stop the tailed beast balls and absorb the chakra cloak and use gravity to smash them into the ground. Ya know until Naruto unleashes even more chakra (how he stops every single near death situation) and break through the gravity or something odd like that. Also keep in mind Nagato used the Asura Path to stop both Naruto and Killer bee at the same time from striking him at close range. Giving Nagato a BIG advantage over Taijutsu combined with Ninjutsu immunity. He is beatable by a few characters in the series BUT he is a VERY tough character.

Not to bash on anyone but im tired of seeing some people making threads saying nagato can defeat anyone which is untrue and making a bad rep for us nagato fans.

The list of people that can defeat Nagato

Madara Uchiha - Madara has much more in his arsenal to defeat nagato hes got ems, rinnegan, and mokuton. He has everything Nagato has and more. He can summon giant meteorites to plummet down to earth and devastate the terrain and anyone in its path. He has susanoo, tsukuyomi, and amaterasu and all the rinnegan abilities and can also summon kurama and probably the best fire jutsu in the manga. Hes way to much for Nagato.


Tobi - He has s/t, rinnegan, sharingan, 6 jinjuriki paths, Gedo mazo, summoning kurama. His s/t is the most troublesome thing that nagato would have to put up with but when you compare the 2 you know who was superior. He has exceptional genjutsu from what we've saw in his battle against Konan.
He also has izanagi which could turn the tide of the battle but idk if he would need to use it.

Naruto - This could be debatable but im in favor of naruto since his new powerup. Hes got many variations of rasengan, KM, BM, SM, FRS, all the frog summons, TBB, incredible speed and a very good sensor. With all his new powerups hes become more than someone even of nagato's level to handle.

Kabuto - There's really no question now that kabuto has Edo Tensei that he has become more powerful, he also has all of oro's abilities and dragon sage mode. hes taking on both of the uchiha brothers which i find a feat. Hes also an expert medical ninja. Hes mainly powerful because of oro but none the less hes strong and has very good intellect and would be a tough fight for anyone.

These are the people that i think can beat nagato whether you like it or not so stop making vs threads with nagato and the above characters or say he can dominate anyone cause soon your going to start making us nagato fans look as bad as itachi/minato fanboys :/

i agree 100%. he cannot defeat those people. anyone else is toast unless they have some hax tech like koto amatsukami

those are the only ones that nagato probably couldn't beat,but other ninja like itachi have no chance sense all you have't to do is give nagato his mobility, and itachi has no answer to anything nagato does, all of itachis weaknesses are nagato, since we all know itachi is a scared hoe who wouldn't fight a OP ninja up in their face.

i agree but here's the problem i can understand why they have minato fans because of the arc he had with tobi and kurama(though they do go to far with the fanboynism) i can understand the nagato because what he did to konaha, i can understand madara fans obviously because of the way hes bitching out the five kages, i can understand the orochimaru fans because even he knows how to go after a challenge plus he was a good antagonist for the series defeating the 3rd in all(the man they called the professor), i can understand the kabuto fans because hes not only leading this entire war but hes taking on 2 uchihas at the same time,i can understand the naruto fans because hes been pretty much cleaning house the moment he came onto this battle field, plus weakening ,mu, defeating the 3rd raikage,plus beating 6 tailed beast/jins and even almost took madara out in the chapter that he 1st start fighting,i even can understand the.... (i dare not say the name....)but i can even understand the sasuke fans he stepped up to all the kages and held his own. Now i can understand those fans but i don't understand why people even have itachi fans c'mon hes a coward, hes never had a top tier all out battle in his life,and the time he gets the chance to prove himself he runs or takes the easy way out,he takes on characters he know he can't embarrass, but he won't step to any truly overwhelming opponent i only call itachi a bitch because that what kishi has him looking like, but like you said theirs no reason to ruin the name a the few good characters we have left.
