I'm wondering, why was the Uchiha clan not present during the Nine-tails' attack in Konoha?

I mean, I know Tobi unsealed and controlled the Fox, but why were the Uchiha absent? Could it also be that Fugaku Uchiha IS Tobi? :scorps:

I mean, that's just a pressumption, LOL. Anyway, sorry if a thread like this already exists.

Maybe they hoped that the nine tails fox could destroy the leaf without their interference, just like when Danzo didn't interfere duing Pain attack.

BTW, welcome to naruto base.

sorry to disappoint you guys. But only after the nine tails attack uchiha was suspected and put under strict surveillance. This forms the coup d'etat of uchiha clan over leaf village. So no uchiha has grudge on leaf back then.
