Does anyone believe the byakugan seal may actually also prevent any Hyuga from acquiring the Sharingan...Thoughts.

The seal on the side branch is to prevent non Hyuga from gaining use of the Byakugan sines most of the soldiers are chosen from the side branch Hinata being an exception.

In part one Kakashi said the Sharingan came from the Byakugan.Now that the Hyuga clan has been push to the sideline, that thought isn't brought up at all.The Sharingan gets more power, the Byakugan gets nothing.The same Byakugan that the Cloud Village wanted so bad.The same Byakugan that Ao put a sealing barrier on because it was so inportant.The same Byakugan that Ao said undid the genjutsu on the Mizukage Yagura.Man did Kishi give the Hyuga Clan the shaft.

I constantly look at old episodes and i believe during the chunnin exams(I know,way back) someone mentioned that it's believed the byakugan derived from the sharingan. It actually makes sense when u think about it. The sharingan came from the rinnegan. I will check and see what episode that info was in

This theory is nonsensical. It's called a curse seal because its intent is to keep the branch family in line in the of form of the threat of having their brains explode if they rebel and to prevent the byakugan from being leaked into the hands of enemies. Maybe the Hyuugas and Uchiha are distantly related but they don't just evolve into the next type of eyes. Even sharingan users need senju DNA to awaken rinnegan.

Byakugan was said to be powerful than Sharingan in Part 1. Sad Uchiha gets all the love but i don't think at any point does the byakugan evolve into something greater.

With a clan that possess a doujutsu like the byakugan how did they not now who were the strongest between the twin brothers at birth. the clan has very strict rules and those rules could have been set so their clan wouldn't carry the curse of the uchiha. (if u kill ur brother you'll be stronger) I know it's speculation, just wanted to read the thoughts

The Sage of Six Paths chose one brother over the other. Funny that is what created the Uchiha Clan hatred so that make no sense.
