In my opinion, the statement in bold is more credible and logical. Not to mention, as a result of Itachi's heavy influence what became of Sasuke was someone feeling distrusted, a loner and has had to live with the path of vengeance just as his brother planned.

Back to Thread: I don't think so with how the manga has progressed but who knows as Kishi can layout a twist in events future-wise. In my honest opinion I hope not however as I think Karin along with Temari are the least attractive female out of the series (no offense to fans of these two). I personally hope he is paired with Sakura eventually as she truly is still in love with him and I think they fit perfectly.

As for your first question: I don't know whether or not this interview was true (I'm only saying what I read) but during a convention Kishimoto-sensei admitted that he wanted to give the serie a shounen-ai ending between Sasuke and Naruto, but he couldn't get explicit seeing as America and some other countries would maybe refuse to sell that serie anymore - at least that's what I read. Don't know if this is true :shrug:
Plus most of us Sasunarufans base it on how they act towards each other in the serie. Of course nobody can give real proof that Sasuke is gay but fact is that he has never shown any interest in women - probably because of his revenge but well ... As for Naruto, we (or at least I) base it on how obsessed he is with bringing Sasuke back.
And Sakura and Sasuke fitting perfectly? He tried to kill her too. It would make for a very awkward relationship if those two got together :/ But that's just my opinion of course.

The main protagonist and a main character seem very much like Naruto/Sasuke and the two knew each other for a shorter time in both respected anime. Hm, that could be very well true. Although I wouldn't mind it if they really were in love with each other But I wouldn't complain if they were just really good friends either - as long as they don't end up killing each other, all is fine for me though you know, I would never stop hoping there's more than a strong friendship between those two. But that's just my inner yaoifan talking LOL

Do you mean that this shows Karin isn't over Sasuke? If so, take a look at the next page.
As soon as Karin hears she's going to be left alone with the picture, her whole demeanor (if that's the right word, sorry if it isn't) changes: she becomes more serious and she starts cutting away Sasuke's picture. I don't think she would have done that if she really was still in love with him.

Personally, I wouldn't find it at all surprising for Karin to escape with the intention of paying Sasuke back. After everything is resolved and Sasuke finally sees the light and is reconciled with Naruto out pops Karin to stab him when he isn't looking. Tell me you can't see her killing him...or at least trying to in light of her last appearance.
