Well, of course he's forgotten about it... so much is going on right now. He can't think about love when there's a war right outside his window.

Remember that Sakura only told Naruto that she loved him just so he can quit his scavenging for Sasuke, she didn't mean it with all her heart like Hinata does. SHE truly loves him.

I'm sure later on, after the war and all, (if Naruto survives) Hinata will mention that she loves him once more, and that'll leave him with something to think about.

I know that Sasuke doesn't give a crap about Sakura (or anyone at this point), but I just focused on NaruSaku and NaruHina couples. But if you want another long rant....

Ok, Ill try to be short: whatever the outcome with Sasuke will be, I think Naruto and Sakura could end up like Jiraiya and Tsunade. As I said, Sasuke plays a very important role in both Naruto and Sakura's lives. Both have a strong fixation oh him. Even if he dies, he will be in their memories forever. A relationship in this case would be somewhat difficult. With Hinata it would be much simpler.

Anyway, only Kishi knows what he's doing, so we can only guess and hope.

It's alright, I have to admit though I still make a couple of typos here and there.
Ahem* anyways, yes, I've noticed that you've mainly focused on NaruSaku and NaruHina. I was just trying to get a little point accross to you back there.
And well, Naruto and Sakura understand eachother a whole lot more than how much Hinata understands Naruto.
However, I think that if you're someone that is willing to risk your life for the one you love then you must love them a great deal.
Just like how Naruto has always saved Sakura-chan's life multiple times. But what if Naruto is in the same situation that Sakura is in?
Naruto may be too much in love with Sakura and might not want to be with anyone else.
Aswell as Sakura, she may be too much in love with Sasuke and might not want to be with anyone else neither.

And mhm, you're right. Only Kishi knows what he is doing and all we're conducting at the time/moment is making assumptions! (Which in my opinion, is so not a waste of time).

I may have already known that there was another similiar thread to this one, but not as similiar to that one (till now that is, and yes I used the search bar beforehand I just may not have searched accurately enough).
