People seem to overestimate the speed of Shikamaru's shadow posession jutsu.

Temari in part 1 was able to avoid it.

but yea if you have the strength you can force yourself to move like hidan did

didnt he break free because shikamaru couldnt maintain it for so long. everyone caught in it couldnt move when they were first caught, last person i remember being caught in it was tobi.

anyways all he has to do is take a kunai out her lil bag thing and have her kil herself. its a 1 on 1 fight. no one to distract him or stop him for killing her

The guy couldn't even hold back Tayuya or Hidan(which is part 2 and 2 years later so even more of a reason). They have like no support for their physical strength, Sakura casually makes earthquakes by punching the ground. He can't hold her back, she wins with very low difficulty.
