i was watching lee vs gaara and it got me thinking
can guy beat gaara?

Location - Open Field

Restrictions: Guy - No 8th gate
Gaara - No Shukaku or Gold Dust


Can Guy destroy the so called ultimate defense now that Gaara is the kazekage???
Can Guy do what Lee could not do but with more gates open??? :shrug:

Guy take this. I don't think Gaaras sand can even follow him. And Guy can maintain gates much more longer than Lee, and he's much more powerful, so he might win(maybe with 6gates open)

If lee was near to beat Gaara with 4th gates even when he was able to keep it few seconds against a Gaara who was a jinchuricki.

Not only Gai has more strengh and better taijutsu but he can keep activate 6th gate long time as you can see when he's fighting bijuu but he also has 7th gates.

Gaara doesn't stand a chance.

Gai win.

It's common sense that Gai is much stronger and faster than Lee. Even if Gaara's sand has gotten better from Part 1, I think everyone's neglecting the fact that Gai probably has weights on too just like Lee.

Gai and Lee are both fitness nuts. They push their body to ridiculous lengths. That said, I can't imagine Gai not doing something like this. In fact, he probably has heavier weights than Lee.

I give it to Gai just on the fact that certain match-ups work best for certain opponents.

I'm sure Gaara's improved since he was a genin, but I think people are forgetting that when Gaara went in for the kill against Lee, Guy dismissed the sand with one wave of his hand, without any chakra. I never knew how he did that, but given Gaara's bloodlust at the time, I'm not likely to believe he pulled back intentionally.
