He would have to actually be able to touch him. Given that he is so fast now it's crazy, and he has a chakra shield, that seems unlikely to happen.

I've always wondered about that a lot of people say he can suppress the chakra so Naruto's screwed if he fights him. But if he can doesn't he need to catch him then suppress it like when Yamato did, but Naruto's modes different then a normal jinchuuriki his is just chakra and the wood shouldn't be able to grab onto it.

Actually, yes he can. he created the technique that Yamato used against Naruto in his 4-Tailed form. It suppresses a Tailed Beasts chakra. Being in a host doesn't change that.

In theory he should be able to. I don't know what him being a jinchuriki has to do with it because yamato was able to supress Naruto earlier in the series and he's only a fraction of Hashiramas strength.

I doubt he'd be able to. Naruto can become a perfect jinchuuriki with Kurama, so I don't think the same power would work.

Okei lets say he supresses the chakra but he needs something more to keep it under supress.

And if he hes caught in his wood style he can just be still and enter sage mode and break free and then again go into kuramas chakra (just my tought)

If Naruto is in BM (which is basically perfect jinchuuriki form), I don't think Hashi could do it.
