How can Oro still use techniques after Sarutobi turned his hands to concrete?
Just because he changes bodies?

If so Sarutobi is an idiot for not realizing that, or maybe he did and realized there isnt anything he could do about it?

Or am I just missing that the techniques he used were snake/body/genetics based, and didnt neccessarily need hand seals, like kusansagi sword and that 8 headed godzilla snake summon

According to the wiki he switched bodies right before he fought 4 tailed, naruto. His arms were not turned to concrete, the soul was taken from them making it so they could not move. He can absorb souls as seen with Sasuke and it's also how he lives longer not only just by bodies alone.

i didnt literally mean concrete...in the anime it makes them look like concrete... implying he cant move his fingers anymore..

i still think its lame sarutobi didnt have something that could have killed both him and oro..he had to know he was wasting his life for nothing..

thus putting konoha in an even worse situation looking for a hokage

sarutobi was old and he knew that he couldn't kill orochimaru , he used that fuin just to stop orochimaru and save konoha! :shrug:

why would sarutobi go that far if he knew in a couple years he would switch up and all is well again..it makes little sense unless the old man just wanted to die

First of all it was Sarutobi's intention to kill oro along with himself, when he used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. So it wasn't as if he wanted Oro to live through it without his arms.

Second Oro's arms did not turn into concrete they were immobilized.

Third the soul is not split into parts in your body, so I don't think you can take just a piece of your soul. The soul was busy being extracted, but failed to extract, it was mentioned that oro's arms were sealed, not his soul.

IMO the Dead Demon Consuming Seal doesn't only seal souls, but chakra and other things as well since Minato used this tech to seal Kurama's chakra.

Before Oro switched bodies, he was able to move his arms a bit, remember in the shower?
