Itachi Protecting Sasuke.. Why??

Isn't he suppose to be in a genjutsu with a command line to "Protect Konoha"??
He received information that Sasuke is trying to strike against Konoha... so I think Itachi has to consider Sasuke an enemy.

either his KA just overwrote edo-tensei and itachi is now free to do whatever he wants.
or right now kabuto is the threat and sasuke is helping itachi defeat kabuto and in a way he's helping konoha too.

Thats not the point..... Dont you see, he is suppose to be in a genjutsu. That genjutsu was actually with a intent to control Sasuke if he had attacked Konoha, so personal feelings doesnt matter.

Kotoamatsukami is suposse to be the most powerful genjutsu of all!!

You have raised good question. But as we know his mission is to Save Konoha, Further he left task of dealing with Sasuke to Naruto.. His current priority is to stop Kabuto..

I know what you mean, it's either because Sasuke isn't really gonna attack Konoha, or that the Genjutsu was mainly used to Stop Kabuto from controlling Itachi, and now the Command Line " Protect Konoha " doesn't exist anymore.... OR it could be a PLOT HOLE!!!
