I agree that we probably haven't seen sasuke's full power yet, and if that still isn't enough to compete with naruto he will get a new power or something to be equal with him. They are supposed to be rivals remember. You are right on the part when you said he is destined to fail, because the whole point is to prove that he chose the wrong path by choosing hatred instead of love.

Hell ya. I saw a little preview of their fight and Naruto goes Sage Mode. The preview is like 50 Seconds and it shows that Naruto is evenly matched with Sasuke. I will upload the preview on youtube so you guys can see.
