Agianst the Rules?

Hey read the rule on advertising, I wanna post a link to a website, but it's just a website where they show old toonami cartoons, including the anime, but nothing too recent like "naruto". So is it against the rules? :shrug:

The mods don't actually infract for all kinds of advertising, I myself never heard of anyone getting in trouble for advertising anything but an anime forum directly competing with Narutobase.

I suppose not, unless its a forum about Naruto, similar to NarutoBase and would be advertising that forum instead of NB.

I agree with him. ^^^ As long as your not going to post a link to another forum I doubt they will infract you. Especially if the link is for a place that we can watch free show's.

Thanks for indirectly reminding me about this.
Posting the link will still be breaking the rules but not the No Advertising rule but the No Illegal Links rule.

Posting links is against the rules period. Its advertising other anime/manga sites which is against the rules. Any linking of other sites is against the rules, no way around that.

Only links you might get tolerated to post are links to online tools like google or were to download a free software like Firefox, etc if your post is somehow helpfull to another member. But even so i'd avoid doing so as its up to the mod who checks it to take action. Personally, since google (and other search engines) exists and everyone knows how to use it, its ridiculous that you actually need to link people anything in this site as they can search fort themselves and find it.

So, simple thing is: don't post links to anything, period.

Also, to those who never saw anyone get in trouble by doing so: yeah...because you don't see the infractions and punishments other members get, otherwise you'd see the amount of infractions given by advertising.​
