In naruto world isn't lightning effective against earth, so basically couldn't kakashi have used lightning blade to get the massive boulder off of Obito?
His body was already crushed and there is a medical condition (forget the name) that would have killed Obito anyway. If a body part is crushed, say under a huge bolder, and then you suddenly remove the bolder something happens to your blood and and body that kills you. Even if you survive the bolder landing on you.
kakashi was prob too young to understand which element beats which or he just wasn't well trained to use lightning for much
its not a condition just when you have pressure keeping the blood in you you dont bleed out, depending on which organs where crushed he could have lived days to a few hours, since it was his whole left side then i give him seconds cuz of brain damage. and im pretty sure lightning is only effective agianst rock when its like a projectile becuase when you get hit with rock.....its prob the same by getting hit with a eletric rock![]()

Kakashi was already a Jounin. He obviously knew. You can't be as high as a Jounin and not know of something as basic as chakra nature advantages and disadvantages.
His entire right side of his body was crushed by a boulder falling several dozen feet. He only lived for the few minutes it took Rin to transplant his eye.
It's not a matter of what organs were damaged. Half of his body was crushed.
I think you're talking about compartment syndrome. When a part of your body (for example, your leg or arm) gets crushed my something, even if you re-set the broken bone you can die from this compartment syndrome. The muscles and blood vessels swell up and all the blood gets pulled there. What do you do? Amputate the limb.
(Education from television - Thanks Lost! LOL)
Ohh okay. That's what it's called. Or at least that sounds about right. I only remember because it was on a tv show sometime ago.
I think what you do is remove what ever is crushing you in a certain way and then have some sort of special medical treatment. I know super informative.
