Flaws in recent Gaara threads

Firstly I know I am making another one, but it is to point out/ discuss some inconsistencies in the recent threads, and lets face it its basically Gaara day.

1. Gaara's sand is weak to lightning
- for starters Gaara's sand isn't earth natured and therefore the arguement of lighting>earth is invalid. Notice when gaara does a desert coffin, he doesn't yell earth element: desert coffin. It's because it isn't earth element
- Gaara actually has wind element affinity so against lightning he has the elemental advantage. With that said, wind is also weak to fire so it kind of balances out

2. Gaara can fight with eyes closed (without 3rd eye)
- now many people have argued that gaara can just use the third eye when in the sand dome. Now whether you believe that he can be hit with genjutsu or not whilst using this technique is up to us, but it isn't the only option he has. Many people seem to have forgot he has sensor sand as well, which he used to catch Mu, the 'invisible man'.

3. Gaara's sand isn't fast enough
Most of the threads are assuming current gaara, so for those his sand is fast enough. Onoki lightened it but he never made it heavier again so the sand is still fast.

I suggested this earlier and someone suggested that Onoki's technique ends when he lets go of the thing he lightened. MOst people with half a brain with realise that this is wrong, but for those that don't think about when Onoki was fighting Kabuto at the turtle island. He had let go of his guards a long time ago, yet they could still fly. So basically the onoki having to hold onto the object argument is invalid.

I'm not trying to start a verse thread here, I am just making light of a few points that most people are forgetting. Cheerio

agree with most but i think his sand is also not wind element i think it has no nature affinity

I agree Those Gaara Threads were made by a troll!!! and the people who agreed just think that the characters are just gonna stand still while gaara attacks... Pretty Dumb I say!

I agree with almost everything except Gaara's affinity.

He has Wind, but his sand itself has nothing to do with Wind. Outside of his Shukaku transformation, we have never seen him use a Wind technique

Gaara sand logically speaking is earth, whether he yells out earth element or not. Sand is made from the earth, that is something you cannot argue against. He chakra affiliation is wind, and its this chakra that has been infused with his sand. Although his sand has been infused with chakra, its normal chakra. It doesnt have any nature affiliation at all that has been added to his sand. Therefore its normal chakra that has been infused with sand.

Also i keep on hearing people say gaara can use the 3rd eye to avoid genjutsu and it seems like people have no idea how genjutsu works. Nobody has any proof whether sharigan genjutsu can be avoided with the 3rd eye. Secondly genjutsu itself requires no eye contact therefore the idea of the 3rd eye being gaara's counter to genjutsu might work on sharigan genjutsu (although there is no proof), but will not work on people who do not need or have a doujutsu to use genjutsu

3. Gaara sand isnt fast enough that is fact. His sand got bypassed by sasuke and lee in part 1. Obviously his sand wouldve gotten faster in part 2, but so has many characters. Im certain lee and sasuke will repeat this feat again. Also im certain onoki's technique doesnt last forever, its a jutsu that has a time limit. Gaara's sand by now is back to normal. Unless you are telling me that those 2 body guards forever will remain in the air and the technique doesnt wore off.

Atleast you didnt talk about such nonsense about gaara's sand blocking amaterasu (which it didnt), but also it was him alone that pulled madara out of susano

Gaara's sand is his specialty, it doesn't seem to fall into a specifically stated category, especially since his affinity is wind. Its like his father's gold sand and the third kazekage's iron sand. If i spent more than 1 minute on this, I could find several other jutsu that are rare if not unique to a specific person without falling into the category of kekkai genkai.

Dumb. It's a know fact Chidori is lightning. The sand is like a KG. Kimimarus bone thing isn't element either just like Gaaras sand isn't earth.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean that gaara's affinity is wind and therefore his sand has wind type chakra in it. I just meant that if he happened to have some he could counter sasuke's lightning techniques with a wind technique. My bad for not explaining it right

I get what you mean. He's not saying gaara's sand=air element. He's saying Gaaras sand=/=earth element so sasuke fans cant say "hurrderp, Gaara is earth style due to sand so sasukes chidori wins." I feel you bro.
