Pretty sure you have to at least be a Jounin, and have your own team. He has neither. :>

or..naruto can become as famous as the so6p all over the world and travel like jiraiya; he doesn't need the name after this war is over but if he still wants to then tsunade will gladly give it to him xd
When did Gaara become Jounin? When did he have his own team? + Rank is now no longer relevant in this series as we've seen a Genin save Konoha and their Jounin and Chunnin asses countless times. Plus he beat an akatsuki member and did it without killing him.
Gaara had his own team in the first part. He lead a team of two other people who became his friends.
Rank is very relevant, sure they might have saved the village and are very powerful. Although that's not all that ranks show, it shows the intellect, and other think that are needed to become a great ninja.
Konohamaru killed one of the peins, does that mean he should become Hokage?
Naruto doesn't have the things needed to become Hokage, maybe one day, but not now. You can say one thing that pissed him off and he flips shit. He has no control.
I don't think you see the point here, man. Masashi did not let either Danzo or Kakashi become a permanent Hokage because they were "unfitting" of the role. It's like Konohamaru said: Naruto will be the 6th Hokage. It's inevitable. Had either Danzo or Kakashi been fit to become the 6th, then they would have. But the fact of the matter is that Naruto is the one who can become the next Hokage without being removed (either by death - Danzo, or replacement - Kakashi). The way I see it is like the Sword in the Stone. Kakashi and Danzo both tried to take the sword out (6th Hokage position) but failed. In this case Naruto is King Arthur (metaphorically of course).
Give me a manga reference that says it was Gaara's team. Give me a reference that says Konohamaru killed one of the peins. Than we can talk. Not doubting you just sayign wheres the reference for such an assumption.
Ok, Konohamaru didn't kill the pein, but he defeated one.

Gaara..
its episode 182 title Gaaras Bonds...
The manga page is different from the anime so i couldnt find it.
Wiki: *Konoha History Arc** Gaara remembers a joint mission with Team 7. On the rendezvous point the two teams meet. In Gaara's team are two rookies: Korobi and Yaoki, who are at first scared of Gaara and his abilities.
WHEN DID KONAHOMARU DO THIS? Because he injured him and he disabled his movements for a while don't mean a damn thing. Thats not a defeat. And look atYou must be registered for see links
does it say anywhere that he led the team? It says sand siblings thats it. You've just been given facts now don't continue.

Retreating/running away counts as defeat.
Read Invasion of Pain Arc...He knocked his ass out..then after that the pein retreated... if he had been there longer he probably would have lost, due to the fact that he was unconscious.
No where in that paragraph i posted did it say the sand siblings. They weren't even involved in that mission. LMFAO! Dumb ass's these days.
