Excatly, if he would trained with oro for long time, he would be really badass in Naruto. He was really a monster when fought against Gaara and Rock Lee. He owned two of them.

Indeed, he would be good enough for Akatsuki.

It's a shame that he died so young - I consider him the best Taijutsu user so far, since he's VERY robust and most of his Shikotsumyaku techniques are considered Taijutsu.

If he had time to improve, and wasn't sick, he would probably be on par with or close to current Gaara's level. But if he was healthy, he would have just become Orochimaru's container. Technically, he would be Orochimaru not Kimimaro :shrug:

He survived the curse mark.
One of the best Taijutsu users in the world.
He had Kekkei Genki.


He was definitally Akatsuki material. If he wasnt sick he would have never died earlier. If he had more time to develop he would have been a Top 20 Dead or Alive Shinobi.

If he was healthy and still had the curse seal, he'd be Top 20. Imagine if he became older, more developed, and stronger? His durability would be insane. How will you stop a guy who can't even be crushed under hundreds of tons worth of sand? His body itself is like an ultimate defense. Taijutsu is basically useless against him because he can make bones come out of his body instantly to stab you. Only way to beat him is to fight from a distance, unless you're Raikage. If he were still alive, he'd be very dangerous.
