i think izanagi CHANGES something that already happened. izanami can DECIDE something that is going to happen. thats what i took from the chapter

He already hinted at what it was. If what I took what he said correctly, then Izanami will be the exact opposite of Izanagi which means that It will change the future versus changing what has already happened.

yea... and btw according to the plot itachi's gonna get sealed anyways... its just that what he does before getting sealed... and i dint think kishi will let any of the three main villain die

izanami is the counter izanagi based on the small info from itachi.


Seems this jutsu is based on destiny.

So its not a harmful one but based on what ur destiny is, well thats what my impression of the jutsu. Looks like it makes ur final destiny in ur life the moment you cast the jutsu.

Could back fire if u ask me more than helping u win against ur opponent.

If Izanami allows the user to change an illusion cast onto another to become a reality, so basically an instant kill (the illusion of that persons death), at the cost of blindness in one eye... (it is an IF, as we dont know yet, but it seems logical)

My point is that the 8th Gate, that actually kills the user, should be absolutely incredible in comparison. If you are blind and win the fight, its obviously better than dieing and winning. I just dont see it happening as Izanami and Izanagi seem way to over powered, and the prerequisit of Senju DNA (if true) seems far to easy to obtain atm.... the 7th Gate was also abit underwelming if you ask me....

I think Gai should have been killed off a while back, during the Kisame fight or something, and then brought back as an edo. He could have used the 8th Gate without dieing and been a ultimate badass.

I wish the whole story hadnt been so rushed, it could have been something really great, instead its just mearly kinda cool and something i still read because ive already put so much time into it.

Its very funny the way things are turning on the manga makin us to get spell bound and expectant of nextweek release i believe that izanagi is not a genjustu since itachi said himself that izanagi is a kinjustu meaning it ll be a merge of genjustu n ninjustu hope it concerns kabuto @last
