What have these kids been doing then the whole manga? Playing around and making jokes? Besides like Kakashi (or someone else, can't remember the exact character) said: "The next generation will surpass the previous one."

I agree , kishi gets lost in his writing sometimes and then he does these huge jumps in power to correct them .... if in the next fight sasuke beats naruto or even best naruto too much like kishi will draw then im certain ...... its all thumbs down for me .... AND THE NEW GAME SUCKED TO

What manga have you been reading that you claim they don't train? And besides that quote has been said in the manga -_- It's only normal that the new generation surpass the former one or else society would probably be doomed.
But no seriously, if they didn't train, they would have been dead long ago - Sharingan or Kyuubi wouldn't have been a help then if they were weak.
while that quote sounds true, it really isn't at times.
Sarutobi didn't surpass the 1st hokage, neither of the Sannin surpassed Hiruzen, Kakashi hasn't nor will surpass Minato. The 4th Raikage hasn't surpassed the 3rd Raikage. and no shinobi did or has surpassed the Sage.

Itachi has suffered war and got a trauma at the age of 4, I can assure you then since he was 4 years old he has been training non stop and that is just Itachi, there are people who have been training all their life, like the Hokages besides that manbitch Tsunade. Naruto has trained sometimes but it's nothing compared to what some people do, especially these dumb Rasengans forms or whatever that is Kishi pulls out of his ass, planetary Rasengan, oh please give me a break when did he learn that? When training with Killer Bee? All he learned by Killed Bee was how to play tetris and the Bijuu bomb, Minato was a genius and he couldn't even finish Rasen Shuriken while Naruto can pull Rasengans out of no where and now he's not even using them.

As for your little claim with the Rinnegan supposed to being the best, but Sharingan has more abilities, you do realize that someone who has truly unlocked Rinnegan like Madara would have BOTH the known Rinnegan abilities AND the Sharingan abilities mentioned? No? of course you didn't, if you did, you wouldn't have made this thread.
Also, that's just how Naruto is. The whole point of part 1 was that no matter, Naruto can work hard enough to get strong while others just power-up, that's what makes Naruto special: As opposed to his rival, he works hard. Its like Orognato said.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, lot of negative things had to happen to Itachi and Sasuke for them to get their abilities, so everything's cool.
Once again, Orognato has pretty much nailed it.

kishi is a fan of the sharingan what do you expect besides saskue is way weaker imo than naruto rigfht now he needs another power up and this is it plus what ever is on that scroll and maybe rinnegan who knows but he needs all the help he can get if he wants to fight naruto evenly

I just do not like That all of sasuke's powers are coming from the Sharingan and not him.
I'd prefer to see more chidori variants and more katon. plus now the sharingan has like 6 abilities that are all OP.

My name and avatar have nothing to do with this discussion - if it was I could say the same of your name. You are trying to claim that Naruto and the others don't train as opposite to the former generation. Sorry but I don't agree with that. What do you think kids do at the Academy? They learn the basic training of being a shinobi: taijutsu, shuriken etc. Then they get trained by their Jounin and with kids with family, they train at home too. You can never succeed as a shinobi if you stay seated at your ass. And Itachi isn't the only one who suffered. Sasuke lost his family by the hands of his own brother and Naruto never knew his parents and was shunned by the whole village. So don't claim that only Itachi and others suffered. And if you read the manga, you know where Naruto learnt the Rasengan - with Jiraiya who taught him the basic and Naruto worked his ass off to complete that one. Naruto was able to learn that one because he was striving to catch up to Sasuke. He needs to be strong if he wants to battle Sasuke. That's why he trains so hard

This isn't a fan-boy post, but I'd just like to point something out.
If you haven't noticed, a lot of Naruto's recent abilites come from the Fox or he needs the Fox in some way to do it.
As of right now, Naruto is way more OP than Sasuke and has the potential to be even more OP.
I mean, right now, Naruto isn't even at the full power of the Fox power inside him and he's capable of tanking five TBB's. He can increase that power even more with more control of the Fox and that still is only half of the Fox's true power. Could you imagine if Naruto had ALL the Fox's power and complete control? IMO, if that kind of power for Naruto existed, then its more than fair for Sasuke to be getting power-ups.

Don't compare Naruto episodes to Shippuuden, because that's comparing 2 different animes in my eyes, the episodes were so much better and I haven't said anything about the episodes, I'm talking about the Shippuuden. Naruto hasn't done shit in shippuuden to gain this power he has, he has plot no jutsu which is the only reason he and Sasuke are so strong, not some bullshit reasons you Naruto fanboys spit out of your mouth.

To discuss something - which means that everyone has their own opinion. And in the Shippuuden Naruto was still perfecting his Rasengan - that's where he learnt of the different elements. You have your opinion, but you also need to look at the manga with an objective view. If you say that Naruto and the others don't train for their powers, then sorry but then I'm seriously questioning which chapters you read. Because the manga has been about Naruto training to achieve his dreams from the very beginning. That's the plot of the manga :sy:

This is a discussion thread indeed and I love discussing with people but in this forum it's impossible, it's filled with tons of fanboys you simply can't argue against because their impossible to talk to, they are 15+ years old and have the mentality of a 5 years old.
Naruto and Sasuke compared to others haven't trained shit, if they have show me the proof where its said or where you can see Naruto training is ass off? (NOT EPISODES, IN THE SHIPPUUDEN)
Naruto has so many Rasengans and he still can't even make one with just one hand, how bullshit is that, looks like alot of training to me, more like pulling crap out of thin air and making it a Rasengan.
I loved Sage Naruto, one of the best fights I've ever seen in Naruto, Pain vs Naruto, tactics, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu everything was there, Naruto was so epic. Then once he got his Kyuubi Mode I started to dislike him, or basically I didn't really mind him having it I just didnt care about him anymore, ever since he started to pull Rasengans out of his ass I started to dislike him because it's just bullshit.
Please give me the chapter where Naruto is training that can proof he actually did something to get all these 5 billions Rasengan variations while Minato, a genius, couldn't even create 1.

Rasenshuriken: Naruto had to train hard for this: He was working on something that couldn't be taught and was virtually impossible, but he succeeded through hard work.
Sage Mode: You saw all those statues that Pa told Naruto about? Those were dozens of people who came before him and failed, prooving Sage Mode is no walk in the park. Naruto worked for that.
KM/BM: you think Naruto just walked up to Kurama, asked for some power and Kurama said "K". No, he had to defeat his dark side, master taking chakra from Kurama without Kurama taking his own, defeat Kurama and train himself to effectively use Kurama's powers, all of which were not easy feats.
As for Sasuke, while most of his power didn't come through hard work, he certainly didn't get them for free. Several things had to happen to him, including insanity, being an enemy of the world, losing his entire family and life long loniless like Naruto and Gaara, and loss of his older brother. If those things didn't happen, Sasuke wouldn't be bearly as strong as he is now.
not to mention that Kurama joining sides with Naruto was a result of Naruto's strong will. As you stated, both characters have their own advatages, and all their abilities derive from those 2 advantages. one has a strong will, strength and endurance, the other has eyes that grant the user amazing abilities compared to other ninjas.
