Looks: He wears standard black uniform with white stripes, in ragged condition and without any footwear, with a fur coat draped over himself. The coat consists of several masks adorned on it, which he utilizes in a variety of ways. The one resembling a gazelle's skull which he wears over his face is the mask belonging to a ninja that killed his best friend. Ashido uses the rest to block ninja's attacks, and carries one of them like a shield during battles.
Personality: Ashido is shown to be rather serious most of the time, having carried the mental scars created by the deaths of his teammates for few years, since he was little kid. The very reason Ashido stayed in the forest that were near The Leaf Village so long was to avenge the deaths of his friends and protect the human world by killing as many bad ninja's as he possibly could. He met someone and saved him on several occasions, and would have left the forest with his group if he had not been forced to save them from the truble that they made. Even after several years of living alone in Konoah, Ashido still harbors a sense of sorrow at having lost his companions and visits the site of their death from time to time to pay his respects. He later thinks of leaving Konoah to keep his life on and achive a new goal in his life

Background Info
History: Few years ago, when he was a little kid, Ashido and his unit fought against a large number of ninjas. As Ashido's unit pursued the ninjas, they began to retreat with shunpu jutsu. Ashido and his unit followed them and ended up in the forest that was outside of Konoah. Ashido and his unit knew where they were and continued fighting the ninjas despite this, but the fighting eventually attracted several ninjas. The ninjas attacked and used many kind of jutsus that he didn't even know, killing several of Ashido's comrades. The ninjas eventually overwhelmed Ashido's unit and killed all but Ashido and one of his comrades. As Ashido went to face the group of ninjas alone, he left his friend to rest, but one of the ninjas attacked and fatally wounded his friend. Ashido's friend managed to kill the ninja, but died soon afterwards. Enraged by his comrade's death, Ashido grabbed the mask of the slain ninja and killed the remaining ninjas himself. Ashido decided to stay in the forest and kill as many bad ninjas as he could in order to protect Konoah. Sometimes he got back to Knonoah so he could eat or rest in piece.
