Got to sensing danger and stopped, you think that if he could sense danger Tobi would have infiltrated Kushinas labour room?
need to read well. the mark alerts minato. if there's no mark then he can't sense danger. i've explained it with scans. pls check it again.
Theres marks in kusinas seal and on minatos knives, he cant sense danger.
thanks
Welcome bro. Don't worry bout what the haters are saying you used facts and manga scans. This thread is legit and the hater will always hate.
Itachi (Tsukiyomi restricted) < <Minato
Itachi with Tsukiyomi but illness<Minato
Itachi (full health) = Minato
Ninjutsu: Minato(mainstream ninjutsu, seals, ST barriers) > Itachi (Mainstream ninjutsu, MS, sage weapons in a pure ninjutsu battle, Itachi has nothing on Minato because all attacks will be either avoided with ease or simply redirected with transportation barrier, so if they were to fight a ninjutsu battle, Itachi would inevidably lose, Minato can transport sasuno'o or simply place a seal/kunai on it or near it and teleport inside it. Amateresu is useless against him too.
Weapons: Itachi = Minato, Minato pawns kunai jutsu but Itachi pawns shuriken jutsu.
Speed: Itachi<Minato (no need to explain)
Agility: Itachi=Minato
Reaction Time: Itachi=Minato as far as we know. I'm basing this on the fact that Sasuke's reaction time was fast enough that he could counter A's speed with sasuno'o and blaze release, and Minato we all know is said to have the best reaction and we have proof of it against Tobi, A and Bee.
Taijutsu: Itachi=Minato, Minato is a close combat specialist but Itachi has the sharingan's visual abilities, in a sense it kinda makes them equal. Plus because of his eyes being used to speed travelling, Minato 's eyes are able to keep up with people like Raikage. In a pure taijutsu battle they would probably be equal.
Genjutsu: Itachi>Minato
Intelligence: Itachi=Minato
Personally, my opinion is that Minato is way better then Itachi IF it wasn't for Tsukiyomi, but with Tsukiyomi, then Itachi can fight against Minato and have a 50% chance of winning. Notice that I aonly said that Itachi can fight against Minato at 50/50, not that they are at the same level. Just that he has a jutsu that gives him an advantage against this particular opponent, sas far as we know off course. We don't know how Minato fights against a genjutsu user like Itachi because he hasn't been seen fighting one. The one time that he did (Tobi), the guy couldn't use genjutsu against him because he was using it to control the fox, something that Minato noted and took advantage of. They both have intel on each other, Minato kept comparing Tobi to Madara in his thoughts and used that supposed intel to predict Tobi's actions and battle plan(intentions), so he might have already known about Tsukiyomi, sasuno'o, amateresu back then. He also told Naruto that he had seen everything that happened through the seal when they met, and proved it because he knew Konoha was destroyed b y Nagato and even referenced to the time that Naruto and seven of his comrades were held back by Tobi, which means he had been watching everything for real since that had happened a long time ago. Basically, he would know everything Naruto knows up until the time they met in the seal, meaning he would know everything that Naruto knows about Itachi, and Naruto knows about Itachi's amateresu and Tsukiyomi from the time he first met Itachi and Kisame.
Itachi also knows about FTG and mayb e some other stuffs about Minato too. He seemed to speak of him as if he knew him not quite at a personal level but higher then just aquintance level when he spoke to Naruto about him. Plush, Itachi's mother was supposedly Kushina's best friend, so he could know a great deal about Minato from his mom too.
It could go either way I think, But Itachi would have to capture Minato in Tsukiyomi at the start of the battle, before Minato spams kunai because, as Tobi said, Minato can teleport in the space between his markers, simply deflecting them won't be enough.

I cant be bothered for Minato vs Itachi threads, so I aint gonna argue on that. But you have totally misinterpreted what Minato said about his FTG. That whole page you posted is a very bad translation. I mean, why would Kakashi asked "why" in that situation? didn't he want to be saved by Minato or something? And Minato's response doesn't even answer his question.
In the Anime translations, Kakashi asks "how", and Minato reply's "The jutsu inscription on this Kunai acts as a beacon for my space time ninjutsu".
Beacon - A signal or guiding device. Basically, Kakashi was simply asking how Minato was able to get to him so fast, and Minato explains that he can teleport to any of his seals instantly. That is all. I don't even understand what Minato meant in the translated page you gave. Doesn't really make sense...
And like someone already pointed out, if Minato could sense danger he would have noticed Tobi. He wouldn't have got
A signal that alerts him. How come he knows that kakashi needs help? You may have a point about the translation but the bottomline is the mark alerts him. We can call it a signal but it will still alert him that someone is in danger like Kakashi. Also, Tobi explained it to kushina why Minato incorporated the mark to her seal.
i dont think that minato can sense danger, if that would have been the case, he would have warped away the moment tobi appeared in the room where kushina gave birth to naruto or when he appeared behind him on the kage monument.
the seals on them is to defend them when he already knows that there is danger. i think he modified the seal in a way that tells him when somebody touches it or infuses chakra, that's why he warped to kakashi not in the moment when he fought the guys who kidnapped rin, but in the moment kakashi drew the kunai.
itachi does not need to close his eyes for tsukuyomi, in 388 where he uses it against sasuke, he just spams genjutsu and follows it up with tsukuyomi. and where did you get the close range part from?
since tsukuyomi is instantaneous and minato doesnt evade eye-to-eye-contact with sharingan-users, he would be trapped inside tsukuyomi if itachi opened the fight with it.
apart from that we have seen that sasuke can spam susano'o all day, so it doesnt drain much chakra. itachi is pretty fast and susano'o pretty dangerous on close range. if raikage is able to track all of minato's kunais, i could imagine that itachi with his sharingan can do that too, so he might be able to jump to the kunai minato teleports to and therefore constantly force minato to teleport, putting him under stress. if minato then makes a mistake, looks him one time in the eye and eats tsukuyomy, he's dead. if he fights perfectly for like 20 minutes, he wins.
The justu inscription acts as a beacon for my space-time ninjutsu... you should be able to understand what that means ajpn. Minato never said anything about him being alerted. He said the inscription acts as a beacon for his S/T ninjutsu. Meaning anywhere that beacon (inscription) is placed, he can use his S/T ninjutsu to get there. And who said he knew Kakashi needed help? Situations where someone comes just in time happens alot in Naruto. Look at how Naruto saved Sakura just before Sasuke was about to slice her. You wouldn't say Naruto can sense danger would you?
Tobi said Minato will always be there to protect her, that is way to vague to be coming up with conclusion from that statement alone. It can be interpreted in many different ways. He could have simply meant that Minato would always be able to teleport to her when ever he wants no matter where she is. That is what I thought when I read it, and im sure many other people thought that aswell.
at the bolded part: Take note of the word protect. How can he protect Kushina if he doesn't know that she is in trouble? Why would he incorporate the mark if he's always at her side?
By the way, I go by what I have read. If you can provide a better translation then that would be a big help. As of now, I've got two sites with the same translation. The 1st one is from mangainn and the other is from mangareader.

I thought it was a well put together thread.

Similarly, if he wasn't able to get to her instantly, he wouldn't even get the chance to protect her. Like I said, it can be interpreted in may ways. Example, if Minato wasn't able to get there instantly or he hadn't marked Kushina then Tobi would have killed Kushina. And obviously he isn't literally always by her side.
Come on now, its not that hard to see a bs translation when you read it. The whole page doesn't even make sense. The anime version is 100x clearer and unlike the scans you provided, the anime translations aren't translated by random fans. If I could find the Viz translations I would post it, but I can't. So ill much rather go by the Anime translations than the unreliable translations that have already been proven to be wrong many times.
