Who will really be in the final battle?

The common theory is that Naruto and Sasuke will be the final battle. However, I have a feeling that with all that going on with Sasuke and Itachi, it looks like he might have a change of heart in terms of his whole 'destroying Konoha' thing.

Furthermore, my opinion is that with Naruto becoming extremely OP'd lately and possibly attaining even greater powers as a result of his connection with the other Bijuu (jinchuuriki of the Juubi) along with a growing resemblance to SO6P looks-wise and powers-wise that Sasuke just won't be able to match up.

I mean seriously does anyone think that EMS can match up to a jinchuuriki of Naruto's growing caliber or even his increasing amount of SO6P powers. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he even awoke the Rinnegan, at this point it seems very plausible.

I know all you Uchiha fanboys are going to go off about Naruto having only the body of the Sage but not his eyes. However, nobody knows how the Sage attained his eyes, I personally they came from the Juubi when the Sage defeated it and put it in him. Therefore if Naruto becomes the jinchuuriki to a newly recreated Juubi he will acquire a Rinnegan.

Final battle prediction: Edo Madara vs. Naruto (new Sage of Six Paths).

That doesn't mean it's going to be the final battle, even if they do fight. I just don't think Sasuke will be the final battle for Naruto, considering how strong he's getting. You don't get that strong unless it's for a super villain like Edo Madara.

Naruto looks like the true inheritor of the SO6P power not some of it but all including the Rinnegan as for Sasuke depending on what Itachi tells Sasuke may be the final decision on were Sasuke goes,only Sasuke can make that. Base on what Itachi tells Sasuke it will determine in the end if A Naruto VS Sasuke confrontation occurs or a team up against a final opponent that they may face together if it be Madara,Tobi or Kabuto Himself, No telling who Kishi will set up as the final opponent in the end but its one of the three I have mention, of course if its Madara Himself who somehow uses His power to break Himself out of the Edo, or Tobi or Kabuto. For this to happen a few more issues of Manga are needed to see a possible final confrontation.

The toad sage said it would be a young man with exceptional eyes. There are at least three people on the battlefield right now who fit that description: Sasuke, Edo Itachi and Edo Madara. Naruto already met Itachi and Madara in battle, briefly.

EDIT: He also fought Nagato, who was also a relatively "young" man and had exceptional eyes.

The most exceptional eyes so far belong to Edo Madara. He has full EMS and Rinnegan powers. Sasuke only has EMS. Tobi has exceptional eyes too, but he isn't a "young man".

The thing about vague prophecies is that you can interpret them in many different ways.
