question why is shadow clone jutsu a kinjutsu?

i remember it being in the forbidden scroll that naruto learned during part 1 so why is it a kinjutsu? its seem fine to me or was it because it can imitate the body perfectly?

Maybe because it consumes more chakra the more clones is created and leaves a ninja with zero chakra, so normal ninjas isn't able to learn it?

I dunno, but Naruto is another story, he can create hundreds of clones and still have remaining chakra, due to him being an Uzumaki.

It is because it splits the user's chakra evenly and is very dangerous to use, as most ninjas don't have the chakra to do it and would die if they made too many clones.

It's because it requires a lot of chakra. Which is perfect for Naruto, considering he's a stamina/Chakra freak xd

I'm not sure but I do know that naruto has the ability to make over a hundred or a thousand shadow clones of himself as seen in season 1 when he was just a kid

I don't think people understand the jutsu. In itself it doesn't require very much chakra at all. Where the loss of chakra comes from is that the user's chakra is evenly split between all the clones made.

If one clone is made, the clone gets half the chakra and the original gets half the chakra.

If 9 clones are made then each clone + the original get 1/10th of the total chakra.

I don't think it's just Shadow Clone justus. I think it's specifically Multi Shadow Clone. It requires a lot of chakra and splits the users chakra evenly among the clones. It's dangerous to use if the user doesn't have the necessary chakra amount.

What he said. Considering that Naruto is both Uzamaki and has the Fox to drain, then he's the perfect candidate to make it NOT a forbidden jutsu. Otherwise, a regular person could kill themselves from lack of chakra just by creating clones that cut their chakra. For instance, if kakashi were to use it once, and he himself used Kamui twice (his limit is 4 times as of late), he'd die from it. Hence, Kinjutsu.
