Eh I gave this chapter a 3 felt it was to short on the fight we should've got some more out of it in my opinion.
1. Kabuto was thinking how did Itachi knew he was going for Sasuke then said; can you sense my chakra, was it like how you sensed where I was while being controlled?cons
-All of a sudden Nagato showed up and I don't know what that was about.
-Did those flashbacks show both brothers using Susanoo? I thought Sasuke only just recently was able to use that.
If anyone has an explanation about the flashbacks and Nagato I would appreciate it.
Despite being confused, I still loved it. Can't wait to see what happens next week.
I wouldn't say he's my favourite but he is a definite favourite xd.It was an ok chapter the only thing I liked about the last two chapters is how sasuke is slowly going back to normal since he's my favorite character (not a fanboy Ive liked his character since the very first episode aired in America) anyway yeah he's going back to normal and that's cool to me it just kind of throws the plot off because if he goes good again he can't go back to the leaf and tobi will try to kill him so where does he go?
Itachi is definitely the key to change Sasuke. Now, all Naruto has to do is give it a little push and finish the job. ...Oh, God, that sounded so wrong.
This chapter is definitely a 5/5. Even if there isn't any plot progression, for God's sake, Kishimoto puts his heart and soul into these chapters and I'd seriously like to see you all do better to those of you who are complaining and/or giving this a low rating.
He's an Edo Tensei he keeps regenerating back to optimum condition so he can't go blind. That's why none of the Edo's are running out of chakra cuz it's regenerating too.Itachi is going to go blind at this rate. When he fought Sasuke he was already losing his sight. Yet he is spamming susano'o even more than Sasuke vs. Danzo. Soon Itachi will be a non-factor in this match and Sasuke will be doing the rescuing, Kabuto will walk all over Itachi after Itachi can no longer depend on his MS.
I find the fights to be the best parts of naruto.Come on Suigetsu. . . show the secret of the scroll already and end this whole deal with Kabuto. It is so boring to read a chapter with just fights in it.
So I noticed a few things about this chapter.
1. It seems that Sasuke is remembering what it was like to have his brother around, and that's causing him to behave like he used to (instead of acting like a psycho murderer bent on revenge).
It seems as though after Itachi massacred their clan and left the village, the loss of his brother seemed to tear Sasuke apart, pushing him over the edge as he got older. Then after confronting him and killing him, he just completely lost it, becoming this cold blooded killing machine.
But now that Itachi is back in his life, it seems as if Sasuke is grounded again, back to where he was when he had a big brother in his life. On some deep level, I think Sasuke really regretted everything that had happened, and seeing Itachi again must have really changed how Sasuke felt in his heart.
2. I'm not sure about the flashback, but it seems as though it's just filler Kishi is giving us to make it seem like there's some connection between Sasuke and Itachi that we've never seen before.
It just doesn't really fit with the story, imo. It feels forced. Not like something that really happened.
3. Susanoo seems to be a conduit for other techniques. Base level Susanoo is like a technique that shapes your imagination into reality. It gives the wielder the ability to create a buffer between themselves and the enemy, in the form of the body of Susanoo.
From there, it seems like the wielder of Susanoo can use it to manipulate other techniques in an extraordinary fashion from what they would be able to otherwise.
The first time we saw Sasuke wield Susanoo, it was an extension of his physical abilities. As he learned how to wield it better, it became more of an absolute defense, one which he combined with Amaterasu to shape and manipulate the black flames.
Then he started using it to create a ranged weapon with the bow, and now we've seen where he came up with that idea.

So along comes Madara, and his Susanoo is a little different, wielding a sword and utilizing Tomoe shuriken.

Then we see Itachi doing the same thing with the Tomoe shuriken.

But then we also saw Madara utilize his Susanoo to create a huge 'Meteor' which results in a similar technique to Chibaku Tensei.

The main difference being that Pain created his giant 'meteor' by sucking up existing materials from around the area into a huge ball, while Madara seemed to create his out of thin Air.

Also, when Sasuke departed from Tobi's hideout and encountered Zetsu clones, he utilized Susanoo to manipulate Ameterasu in projectile fashion.

From these chapters, I've been able to come to the conclusion that Susanoo is as strong as the wielders mind makes it, and that the basic function of Susanoo is to create what the mind imagines. This could be a giant weapon, a manipulated technique, or even a technique itself, like the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror.

I believe that Susanoo's appearance changes based on the mood of the character (or the mood of the artist). It also stands to reason that maybe Susanoo is the tool that the So6P used to shape and create things, along with the other spiritual energies and techniques he was said to have.
All in all, we've seen the level of ability with Susanoo increase based on the user's level of Sharingan, with Rinnegan being the most powerful version (thus far). I don't think it would be that far fetched for all the Susanoo users to be able to perform the same techniques (Sasuke/Madara with the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror).
It also makes me wonder why we haven't seen Tobi using Susanoo.
A pretty poor chapter to say the least. Nothing really happened to progress the plot.
2/5
Noooo, since Itachi is in edo, he won't go blind.Itachi is going to go blind at this rate.
