I think Itachi got Kabuto in Tsukuyomi.

If you notice, Sasuke stabbed the snake, thus preventing it from beings useful in Genjutsu, then Kabuto stabbed and looked Itachi in the eyes.

Also, Itachi saving Sasuke does not mean he is superior right now. Remember guys, he has the healing of Edo Tensei to help him out when he gets damaged.

I understand some chapters have to slow it down so it can set up for some good action later on, but this chapter didnt do anything. One jutsu was shown, stupid talk, nothing really important. Sasuke sits there like a dumbass and hasnt done anything.

People here are giving it 5 out 5 just because they saw their favorite characters and such, please.

cons

-All of a sudden Nagato showed up and I don't know what that was about.
-Did those flashbacks show both brothers using Susanoo? I thought Sasuke only just recently was able to use that.

If anyone has an explanation about the flashbacks and Nagato I would appreciate it.

Despite being confused, I still loved it. Can't wait to see what happens next week.
1. Kabuto was thinking how did Itachi knew he was going for Sasuke then said; can you sense my chakra, was it like how you sensed where I was while being controlled?
But it doesn't make sense because you're not under control anymor.
Then Itachi admitted he trolled him, by saying why do you think I can sense you, it was Nagato who sensed you- I merely knew you were aiming for Sasuke. (This is not exact copy from manga but the meaning is the same)

2. The flashbacks were about them cooperating to hunt a wild boar without killing it and Sasuke was the bowman- which is a link to how Sasuke's Susano uses a crossbow, and they owned Kabuto who said they can't cooperate since they're a makeshift duo[/QUOTE]

same :O I didn't get anything in the first half....

It was an ok chapter the only thing I liked about the last two chapters is how sasuke is slowly going back to normal since he's my favorite character (not a fanboy Ive liked his character since the very first episode aired in America) anyway yeah he's going back to normal and that's cool to me it just kind of throws the plot off because if he goes good again he can't go back to the leaf and tobi will try to kill him so where does he go?
I wouldn't say he's my favourite but he is a definite favourite xd.

I have been looking forward to seeing how Kishi planned to deal with Sasuke. And Naruto's goal to become Hokage has been superseded by the "bring Sasuke back home to be a member of team 7 again" goal.
That and how badly he reacted to Gaara being killed and Sasuke being far more important to him.
I don't think Naruto will ever kill Sasuke or let anyone else lay a hand on him.

But back to your actual post; Sasuke is as of now in very deep trouble legally.

I think technically he's guilty of offences against all five ninja villages and the neutral Samurai country with the possibility of the Daimyo's of all six countries being able to veto any decision made by the Kage's (or Mifune) to pardon him.

Sasuke is so far guilty of (in the order they were committed); desertion, treason, use of an uncontrolled substance, assault, aggravated battery, attempted murder, resisting arrest - when Yamato went to the hideout -, (he probably took more drugs with Orochimaru and Kabuto).

Destruction of property - freeing Suigetsu, theft/looting - since Orochimaru did not give him an allowance where did he get the funds used to buy weapons from Neko Ba, breaking and entering x2 at both hideouts, conspiring to commit murder - to kill Itachi, *possible assault against Deidara*, animal cruelty, resisting arrest - running from Konoha.

Against Itachi - assault, aggravated battery resulting in death/murder, gross destruction of property and reckless endangerment - amateresu was Itachi's jutsu, arson, conspiring to commit terrorism/genocide - talk with Tobi.

Against Bee - terrorism, attempted kidnapping, reckless endangerment, arson, grievous bodily harm, aggravated battery assault.

Summit - conspiracy to commit terrorism, illegal entry (possible immigration issues), breaking and entering, assault, resisting arrest, attempted murder, murder*, terrorism, aggravated battery, assault, resisting arrest, conspiracy to commit murder (Danzo), reckless endangerment, wilful destruction of property, arson, grievous bodily harm, cheek - cheeking the police (authorities), attempted assassination, assassination/murder, attempted murder/grievous bodily harm, attempted murder x2, multiple counts of menace, assault (Kakashi & Naruto).

Some of his offences are or should be within the power of the Hokage to overlook - there is a possible issue that the Daimyo will have other ideas since she answers to him. The sand now has Gaara of all people as Kazekage so something should be doable.
I think his fraternizing with Akatsuki, offences against Kumogakure and the Samurai are the most serious.
That Jay dude was definitely killed, possibly the guy he interrogated with Tsukuyomi as well and obviously his attack on Bee. Daring to attack an irate Raikage, and the numerous Samurai apparently killed by him.
Since this was essentially an international summit, he became an aggressor to all 5 kages and the samurai.

Naruto is busy accumulating influence and has already made a name for himself as the hero who defeated pain etc etc.
He already has the Hokage on side, the Kazekage I'm sure will support him, he might be able to score points with the Mizukage for being a guy who might be slightly cute with a big helping of balls and integrity or something. Gaara being on side might also pull her and if a hopefully very obvious or reasonably obviously penitent Sasuke can squeeze out a few tears I think they'll have her.
The Tsuchikage doesn't really care and will probably go along with it. The Raikage will take some convincing I'm sure but they have at least a 0.1% chance.
The samurai's aren't really involved in their issues which I understand is why they had the summit there so I wonder how they'll react to a pardon.
Lol, I hope Naruto's been saving up for a lawyer .. xd

Itachi is definitely the key to change Sasuke. Now, all Naruto has to do is give it a little push and finish the job. ...Oh, God, that sounded so wrong.

This chapter is definitely a 5/5. Even if there isn't any plot progression, for God's sake, Kishimoto puts his heart and soul into these chapters and I'd seriously like to see you all do better to those of you who are complaining and/or giving this a low rating.

Totally agree with you there. xd

Itachi is going to go blind at this rate. When he fought Sasuke he was already losing his sight. Yet he is spamming susano'o even more than Sasuke vs. Danzo. Soon Itachi will be a non-factor in this match and Sasuke will be doing the rescuing, Kabuto will walk all over Itachi after Itachi can no longer depend on his MS.
He's an Edo Tensei he keeps regenerating back to optimum condition so he can't go blind. That's why none of the Edo's are running out of chakra cuz it's regenerating too.

my 2 cents...

Where this Manga is heading:

Kabuto is "already under itachi genjutsu" every time Itachi goes "crow" there is a genjutsu on somebody.

Saske has to fight Naruto.. It was meant to be! So somehow Kabuto kills Itachi driving Sasuke over the edge, or ....Maybe he kills Sasuke and uses Itachi's body to bring back a "controlled" Sasuke . Double Edo Tensei? Is it possible?

Somehow the "will of fire" has to overcome the evil Madara clones so I think each of the Kages shows some extra ability to beat the clones and beat madara.

I haven't decided who Naruto will beat first but he will face Sasuke, Kabuto, and Tobi. Probably in that order then he will probably live happily ever after with Hinata.

Things that can't happen (but just might):

Tobi stays un-masked, Kabuto gets away, Mianto's parents are never revealed, and what does Kakashi look like without his mask?

So I noticed a few things about this chapter.

1. It seems that Sasuke is remembering what it was like to have his brother around, and that's causing him to behave like he used to (instead of acting like a psycho murderer bent on revenge).

It seems as though after Itachi massacred their clan and left the village, the loss of his brother seemed to tear Sasuke apart, pushing him over the edge as he got older. Then after confronting him and killing him, he just completely lost it, becoming this cold blooded killing machine.

But now that Itachi is back in his life, it seems as if Sasuke is grounded again, back to where he was when he had a big brother in his life. On some deep level, I think Sasuke really regretted everything that had happened, and seeing Itachi again must have really changed how Sasuke felt in his heart.

2. I'm not sure about the flashback, but it seems as though it's just filler Kishi is giving us to make it seem like there's some connection between Sasuke and Itachi that we've never seen before.

It just doesn't really fit with the story, imo. It feels forced. Not like something that really happened.

3. Susanoo seems to be a conduit for other techniques. Base level Susanoo is like a technique that shapes your imagination into reality. It gives the wielder the ability to create a buffer between themselves and the enemy, in the form of the body of Susanoo.

From there, it seems like the wielder of Susanoo can use it to manipulate other techniques in an extraordinary fashion from what they would be able to otherwise.

The first time we saw Sasuke wield Susanoo, it was an extension of his physical abilities. As he learned how to wield it better, it became more of an absolute defense, one which he combined with Amaterasu to shape and manipulate the black flames.

Then he started using it to create a ranged weapon with the bow, and now we've seen where he came up with that idea.

So along comes Madara, and his Susanoo is a little different, wielding a sword and utilizing Tomoe shuriken.

Then we see Itachi doing the same thing with the Tomoe shuriken.

But then we also saw Madara utilize his Susanoo to create a huge 'Meteor' which results in a similar technique to Chibaku Tensei.

The main difference being that Pain created his giant 'meteor' by sucking up existing materials from around the area into a huge ball, while Madara seemed to create his out of thin Air.

Also, when Sasuke departed from Tobi's hideout and encountered Zetsu clones, he utilized Susanoo to manipulate Ameterasu in projectile fashion.

From these chapters, I've been able to come to the conclusion that Susanoo is as strong as the wielders mind makes it, and that the basic function of Susanoo is to create what the mind imagines. This could be a giant weapon, a manipulated technique, or even a technique itself, like the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror.

I believe that Susanoo's appearance changes based on the mood of the character (or the mood of the artist :p:)). It also stands to reason that maybe Susanoo is the tool that the So6P used to shape and create things, along with the other spiritual energies and techniques he was said to have.

All in all, we've seen the level of ability with Susanoo increase based on the user's level of Sharingan, with Rinnegan being the most powerful version (thus far). I don't think it would be that far fetched for all the Susanoo users to be able to perform the same techniques (Sasuke/Madara with the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror).

It also makes me wonder why we haven't seen Tobi using Susanoo.

maybe cuz he has only 1 sharingan eye and you need both to activate susanoo?the same reason kakashi doesnt have it?or is it maybe because he never actualy showed if he does or doesn't have ms?

Noooo, since Itachi is in edo, he won't go blind.
