Great chapter, I'm just worried Itachi has no intention of telling Sasuke anything.
I keep thinking back to when Nagato said Itachi was a ninja truly wrapped in mystery etc etc.
I don't think Itachi will ever tell him anything, either that or he will not tell him anything that will cause him to against the leaf (because the real truth if there is any such thing will probably cement Sasuke to his destructive path) so it will probably be lies if anything is said, or perhaps he will weave a story heavily formulated with the perfect ratio of truth and lies.

yh i agree might have placed a genjutsu on from the start or possibly pointed at him who knows, but we do not looking into his eyes is not the only way he can place you under genjutsu

This chapter made me think back to how adept we've seen and heard Itachi is at putting people under genjutsu, even controlling them long range.

For all we know, maybe when he heard Guy say his formulated strategy was to look at the users feet and deduce their movements he took that away and said.
"Look at my feet, huh? Well then I'll make it so that I can put you under with my big toe when you look at my feet next time I see you."

Not much plot progression, but still pretty good.

Liked
- Kabuto's technique not being another "big powerful attack". Nice to see a support move used tactically that's not a clone variation.
- The flashback with lil' Sasuke using a bow. Explains his Susanoo now.
- Inoshishi. That's a awesome looking boar.
- Sasuke and Itachi combination tactic and them double teaming Kabuto.
- Itachi tricking Kabuto with his Crow Clone.
- Them actually landing some hits on Kabuto despite his prediction ability.
- Kabuto remaining cocky.

Disliked
- The battle hasn't progressed much.
- Sasuke isn't really doing anything but playing back-up.

Yea, but all these fights are supposed to be going on simultaneously so he has to catch us up to the same point on all of them before he can take us back to Naruto or that will throw the feel of the timing off.
Plus he only does 16 pages per week - although I'm assuming that Kishimoto Sensei's at least 4 weeks ahead of the weekly release or something.

It was an ok chapter the only thing I liked about the last two chapters is how sasuke is slowly going back to normal since he's my favorite character (not a fanboy Ive liked his character since the very first episode aired in America) anyway yeah he's going back to normal and that's cool to me it just kind of throws the plot off because if he goes good again he can't go back to the leaf and tobi will try to kill him so where does he go?

I've been saying that for a while, man. I don't know how he plans on telling him anything after he's forced Kabuto to end the jutsu, unless he really is a liar. And that's something else. Kabuto said that was like the power in his eyes, so is it like a form of genjutsu to make Sasuke believe him or what? I don't know.

Itachi is definitely the key to change Sasuke. Now, all Naruto has to do is give it a little push and finish the job. ...Oh, God, that sounded so wrong.

This chapter is definitely a 5/5. Even if there isn't any plot progression, for God's sake, Kishimoto puts his heart and soul into these chapters and I'd seriously like to see you all do better to those of you who are complaining and/or giving this a low rating.

It was good, talk and a bit of action, nice to see itachi and sasuke bonding i expect kabuto to throw a few more jutsu's before he's taken down by tsuykomi or w.e thanks to plot no jutsu

I gave it a 5/5. Reason is because we saw a good tag team between them and i liked the fact it was just a fight, dont have to go further in the story every chapter, i dont want the story to ever end.

Since I got the image up Kabuto clearly closes his eyes when itachi get near him, I don't think he got put in a genjustu at this point.

I agree with you on that...however one thing nobody suspects to think about is this...what about the snake hanging from the roof....with its eyes open...just a thought - personally i feel since his eyes are closed he's safe. But if itachi was sick enough to affect kabuto through the vision of the snake that was pinned, with its eyes open then he truly is da sickest lol

I thought it was a nice change of pace ( for now at least) from the dbz-ish fights everywhere .
I mean :
- naruto fighting the other tailed beasts = big explosions, destroy the scenery etc
- Madara vs kages = big meteors , whole forest created , destroyed scenery etc . Could even count Gaara in there with his sand covering two pages of manga.
I hope you get what i mean by these examples . It's just nice to go back from time to time and see some dodging , jumping around, "low power" abilities. For example the cave is still intacted. If it was any of the above fights , it would of been gone from the first ability someone made haha.

pros

-Kabuto is creepy looking beyond belief. I thought his jutsu was amazing, very inventive.
-Love Team Uchiha and their brotherly bonding, especially the flashbacks.
-What's not to love about Itachi's crows.

cons

-All of a sudden Nagato showed up and I don't know what that was about.
-Did those flashbacks show both brothers using Susanoo? I thought Sasuke only just recently was able to use that.

If anyone has an explanation about the flashbacks and Nagato I would appreciate it.

Despite being confused, I still loved it. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

Nagato was in picture when Itachi told kabuto that he didnt had the ability to sense kabuto's chakra...

and the manga was showing Uchia vro's flashback and current situation n the parallel run... Sasuke never use susano in his chilhood.. lol..
