Rassenan or Chidori?

Rassengan vs Chidori.

does anyone know which is actually more powerfull?

and which one you think looks better?

I think they both look awesome and honestly can't decide between the two.

Rsengan is stronger tho uchiha fans cant accept it based on the chakra and density and ratation speed rasengan can be made more powerful where as chidori has a set limitlation

You have Giant Rasengan, I don't think a Chidori could match that.

I like Chidori more but Rasengan is more stronger,the fourth hokage made it so its strong and Rasengan has lots of kinds of ones like odama rasengan and giant rasengan,etc chidori has like 2 or 3 but i forgot but yea. Once chidori hits you your body feels numb. Rasengan destorys you and makes a hole in you and can even kill you

I agree but Rasengan has no Hand seals and chidori dose which make it look a little stronger even tho Rasengan needs more chakra control and chakra its self

For the fact it has evolved to rasenshuriken and wind>lightning. This means rasengan>chidori. Without wind added have same power level as everytime they clash always have equal outcome. Mainly from plot no jutsu as kishi tries to keep them evenly matched throughout the series.

In a base form?
I think Chidori is more powerful.
In an advanced form, Rasengan kicks chidori's butt.

Chidori uses lighting chakra and speed to hit hard.
There's no way to get more lightning chakra or make the lighting chakra move faster. As a technique, it's at it's peak.

Rasengan is just super dense chakra spun at high speed.
When you add elements to it, it's even more dangerous.

So... i guess it depends on what point the series you're talking about.

As you can tell from manga/anime, kakashi can only use up to 3 chidori a day.

But, Naruto, on the other hand, can spamm it like 50 times a day.

And Chidori involves mastery of whole lightning element

while rasengan only needs mastery over shape manipulation on chakra.

Naruto has one of the largest (combined with kurama) chakra pool in narutoverse except maybe edo madara or hashi or do you not read the manga? As for having to master all of lightning, maybe for a normal person but kakashi took sasuke off and taught it to him in a week or so. besides if you myst master the lightning affinity why doesnt sasuke spam more lightning techs? Because he doesnt know them, the only other lightning move he uses is not a lightning tech but a combo of his sharingan and his fire style to create an atmosphere suitable for lightning to strike. rasengan is more difficult to learn and given the shear amount of chakra used to create even a normal one, if it hits you dead on, 9/10 ninjas would be killed.

Technically, I think Chidori should be stronger. Remember when Kakashi showed Naruto that he could do Rasengan? But he said he sticks with Raikiri because making the lighting shape requires chakra control and by adding an element, it becomes even STRONGER. That's why Kakashi never uses rasengan.

So I think chakra manipulation (rasengan) < chakra manipulation + element (chidori)

But that should mean Rasenshuriken is probably stronger:
chakra manipulation + wind element > chakra manipulation + lightning element

I say this because if one was more superior than the other one.When Naruto and Sasuke clash with Chidori & Rasengan it just knocks them both back.
