Sakura's parents don't seem to be ninjas because she always says bye to them when she leaves and they always seem to be home. Maybe this contributes her being a bad ninja because so many others have a background of ninjas in the family. shimaru, ino, choji, neji, hinata, sasuke, shino, kiba all had their dads and sometimes even siblings and mothers to influence them

but if you were not a ninja would you want your children to be a ninja?

If my child wanted to be a ninja, then it wouldn't be in my place to tell them not to. I would support them in their endeavors.
