rinnegan pretty much trumps anything else. Particularly in combination with ems it really does make the user invincible. I mean, would could even get through a defense of susanoo combined with the Shinra Tensei and ninjutsu absorption?

Wood release is useless based on the jutsu's we've seen so far and what can EMS possible do? Amaterasu is out, Susanoo isn't indestructible and Nagato will find ways to get past it just like Gaara did, and Tsukuyomi isn't impossible to avoid. Now rinnegan, they both have it, he'll know all about the abilities and how to deal with them and the same goes for Madara. (Technically Nagato might be more skilled with rinnegan then Madara due to the fact he has more experience with it and had it through out his entire life, where as Madara obtained it at the end of his life.)

What makes you think he can't fight on equal grounds with Edo Madara? They both have the same abilities aside from Madara's Wood release & EMS.

the only thing they share is rinnegan. and those things you left aside belong to the most powerfull things in narutoverse... that's what gave hashirama and madara a legend-like status!

so i hope you get it... nagato got rinnegan but that's not the only thing making edo madara the beast he currently is!

Nah I don't get it.. Wood release & EMS can't touch Nagato, aside from Genjutsu & that's only if Madara can manage to trap Nagato within one.

Lol guy I'm giving examples on why Nagato can counter Wood release and EMS and why'd they be equal at best possibly, while your just being biased against Nagato.
