Yeah i understand but shino won't just let shikamaru do that.Does anybody have a picture of Tobi's hideout again? Shadows are a big part of team 1's strategy. However, it might not matter. Kiba and Akamaru's fusion + Choji's expansion make them much larger than the average human. Large objects = large shadows. Large shadows = increasing easier for Shikamaru to trap in his jutsu. If need be, Shikamaru always has "light bombs" (forgot the name) to increase the size of his opponent's shadow.
Remember that Shikamaru doesn't have to be in his stance to use his jutsu, he can simply throw his chakra blade on the shadow of the enemy for it to work. If the opponent is immobile for anything more than a few seconds, they're a huge target for the Twin Wolf's potent attack, which was strong enough to dent the demon gate.
er...all the while kiba is trying to destroy bug clones, a swarm will be approaching shikamaru. if shika lets up his concentration for even a second to react to the bugs, choji would break freeI feel that there are 2 strategists and 2 powerhouses in this battle. One for each team member. If either team loses their powerhouse, then they are likely to lose. The reason why I insist on Team 1 winning, is that the intelligent one on their side can help his member more than the other side. Unless Shino has some special bug up his sleeves (literally), he won't be very effective against somebody like Kiba + Akamaru. Like I said, if Shikamaru can hold Choji for even a small amount of time, it would give his teammate enough time to execute Fang Wolf Fang and tear Choji apart. Maybe I should write a scenario of what I think would happen if these two teams met?
He doesn't have to physically stand in his pose though, he has chakra blades that he inherited from Asuma for that. Plus they're better since he can use it from a range.er...all the while kiba is trying to destroy bug clones, a swarm will be approaching shikamaru. if shika lets up his concentration for even a second to react to the bugs, choji would break free
i see...so shino, being the strategist he is, would devise a way to lure kiba into the shadow hold as well. thus forcing shika to let up the shadow hold, am i right? since he'd be using his blade, he'd have to remove it manually to let up the hold. if he launches a shadow to let up the hold, he's vulnderable to a swarm of insects...idk if shikamaru can differentiate which shadows to control if they are overlapping...He doesn't have to physically stand in his pose though, he has chakra blades that he inherited from Asuma for that. in every thread you're always against me >_> lolol just noticed thatkiba and shikamaru take this imo
I dunno, Choji's lucky he's seen Shikamaru use the chakra blades though, so Team 2 would have knowledge of it (or so I'd think). I know he can differentiate the shadows when they're caught in his own techique, I just don't know if it works the same with the chakra blades. It's fifty fifty here, since Shikamaru said it acted as the origin of his jutsu, but used his technique after he was already caught in the shadow. It could also be that he has to be the one casting the technique if he wants to move the person, as a blade can't move by itself. I feel that Shikamaru should be given the benefit of the doubt in some cases, as we can't really judge his abilities in a forums match since most of his ability stems from his intelligence. Remember that he still has smoke bombs etc.i see...so shino, being the strategist he is, would devise a way to lure kiba into the shadow hold as well. thus forcing shika to let up the shadow hold, am i right? since he'd be using his blade, he'd have to remove it manually to let up the hold. if he launches a shadow to let up the hold, he's vulnderable to a swarm of insects...idk if shikamaru can differentiate which shadows to control if they are overlapping...
