I used to dislike Kabuto...

I used to have a general dislike for Kabuto just because he didn't seem like a cool person at all, and I thought he was a wimp hiding behind Edo Tensei during the war.


For example, I thought he would just summon Madara to fight for him against Sasuke and Itachi. But, it seems like he's amplified his powers a lot, other then Edo.


I'm kind of starting to like him, though I will say I liked Part 1 Kabuto decently more; what's you guys' opinions on Kabuto?


I'm pretty much neutral on him now, but leaning a little towards the dislike side. I dislike his attitude and how he's been acting lately, but I respect him a lot more now. I have to respect his intellect; he's a genius.

Yeah. I'm not gonna lie, I liked Part 1 Kabuto more. He was more mysterious and calm.

I hated Kabuto the spy/henchman one. Ever since he absorbed Orochimaru, he's one of my favorite character.

For me, Orochimaru was the best villain in the series - personality-wise. His characteristics reflect negativity in all ways - sneaky, creepy, weird, cruel, demented, over-ambitious, wonderful powers and solid background story.

Ever since he died, though the villains - Pein, Akatsuki members, Tobi, Sasuke ect... - were strong, none clicked to me as great solid villains except Kabuto.

Tobi is so mysterious and so overconfident that he doesn't click to me as the main villain. He's a good antagonist and overpowered; but not the one who instill fear. The mysterious face and overconfident schemes of his fits more that of a Mafia leader; not a World ruler.

Itachi/Nagato were good but they turned to be anti-heroes with a good side.

Sasuke is too bitchy and fueled by power greed and vengeance. Plus he's easily manipulated; far from villain requirement. Even his psycho face doesn't change that fact. How Itachi and Kabuto's personalities is overshadowing Sasuke states how Sasuke lacks that villainous personality.

So yeah, ever since Kabuto started becoming like Orochimaru, he's one of my favorite characters. He has evolved all Oro's powers to next level - be it his body techs, Manda, his Shedding Skin tech, Edo Tensei, Sage Mode ect... Most importantly, he makes better villain.

He always seems to have a sleeve up his arms, he's sneaky and creepy just like Orochimaru, he's vicious, he's manipulative and demented, he keeps his cool swagger most of the time, he's a solid blackmailer, he has better ambitions than Tsukuyomi-ing the f***in' moon. He also strives and researched for all his powers acquired unlike Uchihas.

So, him acquiring better powers for himself, didn't change much to my liking. I loved that Kishi gave another solid power - beside Edo Tensei - to Kabuto since he makes for a good villain. The fact that so many dislike him proves that he's doing a fabulous job as villain.

This is exactly how I feel. Ive always like Kabuto but everyone hated/underrated him.

i love kabuto and always have. i didnt mind the fact he was oro's loyal man. i didnt mind narutos TnJ backfiring. i dont mind his use of others powers since everyone is doing it anyway. madara is almost exclusively other peoples powers whereas kabuto has shit unique to him. chakra scalpels, dead soul reanimation, regen, snake sennin mode. all of its stuff only kabuto can do. plus he always seems to be one step ahead of EVERYONE.

everyone has needed other peoples abilities to get where they are in the top tier. the only one i can think of who relies on his own power only without a bloodline is minato. even then he has summons. summoning jutsu and copying other abilities is basic shit. if you see something cool, wouldnt you want to incorporate it into your own arsenal? are you saying kakashi is pathetic for doing this?
