well, by defitiniton, she is related, anyone with the same last name is a fellow clansman. people like 1st cousins and brothers etc. are kinsmen. but yeah, they are probably distant cousins, just like in some way you could consider naruto and sasuke or naruto and tsunade really distant cousins since the senju and uchiha were once the same and senju and uzumaki are distant relatives. i guess its all about perspectives
