[Discussion] How would you like your favourite character to develop?

With Naruto and Sasuke both recieving power-ups/improvement, what power-up/improvement would you like your favourite character to have?

My favourite character is Rock Lee, I hope he'll able to master multiple weapons plus be able to use chakra in a similar way to samurais (Some one else said this I thought it was a brillant idea but I've completely forgot their name.) and of course inherit and improve all of Gai moves and finally for him to aquire some sort of legendary like the Sword of the thunder god.

Haha, yh it would be interesting but I'm not a fan of this new thing of handing out sage mode like its candy . Plus if you look at my avatar he is currently training with the squirrels.

I could see Lee (since he's also a comedic character) getting a turtle sage mode. It'd be purely for laughs though because he'd be incredibly slow but have amazing defense. Also, I'd like to see Lee getting to 7 gates and having a super move as well, like super midnight panther or something like that.

I think you should give up on that. Kishi has shown he gave up on other characters. The story has taken an aweful twist. I miss when they were all comparable though. Good times.

Yh thats good idea, It could actually be plausible if there all these sage modes. It would be nice if Lee kind of surpas Gai and goes into the 7th gate maybe even find a way to survive the 8th gate.

Hmm...I agree with you I don't see it happening as focus has shifted from the Konoha 11 to mainly Naruto and Sasuke. I was just wondering what if one character you be enhanced what would you like it to be. Also it would be nice if they maybe go on missions together again after the war arc but that does seem extremely unlikely.

I kind of want to see Neji open upto the 4th gate. Gentle fist plus that kind of speed and power boost would be deadly as hell.

I wanted Neji to be the one to unlock the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan is a close ranged move, which to me, is closer to the Byakugan than the Sharingan is or ever was. It would have created the perfect picture of why those eyes were once said to be the strongest. Having that would probably have given a more in depth purpose of having the three eyes around: regular, Sharingan and Byukugan. As it stands, the Hyuga just appear weak, and I was so excited when I heard Neji had the highest rank when Naruto had just gotten back. Despite neglecting them to the point of me not thinking it's worth seeing them now, it would have made a better picture and been more exciting to think Neji could have gotten to the KM pawning by Nagato; Plus, Hinata could work towards being comparable to Pain. I can't type anymore, I just am getting too frustrated at it.

I completely agree with you. Even though I'm still enjoying the series I feel like the other characters have been used as stepping stones. The Byakugan seemed really cool when it was first unvielded by the cloud really wanted it and the hyuga being one deadliest clans in the leaf, but because of how its been treated it really doesn't seem all that great. The idea of Sharingan wbeing derived from the Hyūga clan's Byakugan has completely gone out of the window.

This is why I think the Rinnegan fits the Byakugan so much. The whole concept of the Byakugan, which I agree I really like as well, is it's complete vision. Sharingan predicts, which to me isn't vision related as much as seeing everything including even a 359* angle. That boost in Vision prowess would have been the perfect addition. They already get Susano'o, why do the Hyuga get nothing?

Even in the first one Tenten was sorta irrelevant. So, I don't mind. It's just that, when Kishi built up the excitement of team work at the Chunnin exams, and seeing everyone's abilities, it's like asking us to choose favorites amongst them. Then, once we've done that, he completely ignores their existence. He even puts them in battles but just tells us that they are, not showing us. Really? I thought the war would have been the perfect time to show all of these characters vs just the few that he constantly focuses on right now. The diversity to me would have brought a lot more excitement; albeit, the war would be sorta drawn out.
